We’ve revised the Justice Points conversion rate for Emblems of Triumph and Emblems of Frost. When the upcoming 4.0.1 patch goes live, these emblems will be converted into 11.58 Justice Points (up from the previously planned 2.75 Justice Points per emblem). Justice Points accrued above the soft cap of 4,000 will be converted to gold at a rate of 47.5 silver per point (down from 2 gold per point) when patch 4.0.3 goes live.

Yep- you now only need 346 badges insteed of 1455 to hit the cap :)

and every badges over the cap is 5,50G

That is pretty awesome news. That takes about 23 hours at a very modest 15 badges an hour. 346 badges equals 1700-2500g if you 'd sell the cut gems, which makes the tradeoff very fair.

4.0.1 is the first part of the "pre-cata" launch event content. ( not including the recent troll and gnomergan events ) 4.0."3" is THE Event patch, thats a few weeks before Cata launch and is when the world goes BOOM!

I'm just wondering if we might see some crazy inflation all of a sudden when 4.03 hits. I think each one of my toons is going to get 3 to 6k. Maybe that's not a lot for some, but I have 25 80's and that shit adds up lol!

I think you'll hardly notice. There are plenty of people who've stashed 10-50k gold for cata, other people will probably save it aswell. The only thing i can imagine that you'd want to spend gold on is cata crafted gear.

I don't see why they can't make it simpler than that for the conversion. The Justice Point system will be solid numbers like the Honor Point system is now won't it? Why not make it an even 1:2 ratio instead of a #.## ratio like that? Blizzard is American based anyway right? We like simple math, trying to figure out how many Euros or Pecos something costs in American cash is a pain for me to deal with as is.

all they did was make the conversion = the badge turn in as it is now (for t10 gear)....Just a guess, due to ppl planning on buying tons of gear before ea maint to resell for justice points at server up.
