World PVP! Does it even exist?!

Well back to the topic, World PvP.
Im thinking of a new team. I have 4 accounts so it'll have to be 4boxing. Im thinking of pure dps(i have healers that will heal me) So im trying to figure out what to run. 4 mages sounds like it has the burst dps, but also seems like they will get FF really quickly. 4 Warlocks seems to be best for survivability but not alot of burst. 4 Hunters seems to be good for quick damage but there is the range issue that might get hard. 4 Shadow priests? Haven't really considered it.*Edit* Perhaps 4 boomkin druids? I just though about this, they wouldnt get blown up as fast as mages. Im not sure what the dps looks like though, 4 star fires i think would kill and the moonfire wouldnt be bad. being able to stealth and just pop out would be nice too. Im looking for 4 classes that will tear people up in World PvP, as in raiding cities and BG's and stuff like that. Not to mention do alright on arenas. I would like to do 4 Shamans but i don't have the expac and im rolling allince with freinds :( Stupid freinds... Not sure. i might just have to go buy expacs :(

If you are intending to arena in the future, you will need the expansion anyhow (need lvl 70 for rated arenas). Its up to you to decide if you would rather put it off, and use a non expansion class, or to get the expansion now.

From the limited selection you've offered, and with your stated intention of wreaking world PvP havoc, I would definitely go with Druids. Stealth lets you pick your fights, and they have nifty escape moves that no other class has.

But Alliance PvP without a single tremor totem is going to be painful, so my second choice would be the 4 priest setup. Four fear wards, 4 psychic screams, 4 silences, 4 omni-directional DoTs. Yummy. Squishy, but yummy.

Alliance & world PvP? Seems like 4x night elf hunters with cats would be slick. Pick a spot, shadowmeld/prowl, and ambush a passing enemy with aimed shots/pets.

If you manage to get off a starfire in pvp outside of having the element of surprise bravo to you good sir cuz it don't happen that often :p If you do go the Druid route please for the love of god don't moonfire spam, enough idiots do without a multiboxer abusing having 5 of them lol

Boomkins only survive physical dmg a little better than mages, magic dmg will still tear through you(though the 4% base resist talent is handy sometimes); stealth will be useless in pvp till high lvls though; the upside is as a boomkin your best bet of winning a fight is perching with insta-shift flight form and sniping people from afar ;p

Thats not PvP, thats ganking.
Well, that's 98% of the form of world PvP I'm ever involved in, and usually the victim of. Try to be Alliance leveling 15-25 in Redridge. I'm sure horde have to deal with it somewhere, but level 15 characters being ganked en-masse throughout an entire zone is ridiculous. I wasn't referring to ganking lowbies. I'm all for getting a 5-man jump on another relatively equal level group of enemies - just what 'World PvP' should be.
