I was thinking about a flag carrier setup for a premade WsG, 2 boxing.Choices i have (taking my lvl 80s into account ) could be: prot pally + resto shaman, prot pally + disc priest, disc priest + resto shaman, or prot pally + unholy dk, 2 dk even. But I really like the ghost wolf in pvp. So 2 shamans sound like more fun. Could go resto/resto, ele/resto or ele/ele (i dont play enhancement).

On the other hand, something not too obvious might be fun/challenging to play as well. So I started to play around with the talent tree. Trying to make a true hybrid, who should be 'linked' with a resto shaman. I kinda came up with this 25/20/26 (http://www.wowhead.com/talent#hecVq00hZMxg0oVZV0xuhxs) freak spec..

It gives in elemental tree damage reduction, clearcasting;, mana reduction & regen.
In enhancement it gives ghost wolf, 5% crit, shock spell mana reduction and toughness (stamina + 30% slow reduction)
In resto it gives mana reduction, less push back while healing, damage reduction, 2 cooldowns, interrupt/silence reduction and healing crit.

I'm totally not sure how this would work out. The idea is to carry the flag, shock your target when off cooldown, earthbind, hex & lesser healing wave yourself all the time + grounding / stoneclaw. And the resto shaman keeps the shield & riptide on him. Once resilience is *maxed*, gem int (for a large mana pool) or haste (to reduce lesser healing wave cast time)?

Of course I'm aware that a druid can shapeshift as well and other combs might be a better option. And this spec ain't gonna kill anyone. Though it should give a bit more survivability to a shaman, and give him 1 specific task: stay alive by keeping the enemy away, as mana efficient as possible. But Im basically looking for input/feedback/ideas about a shaman freak spec, and if someone has actually tried this out?

With the risk of getting flamed and laughed at for ever and ever,
Z.

Have to spec into a tree to 31 points in order to pickup a second tree....

As you can see he spent 66 points already. I think this is for spending time in Wotlk, not necessarily something that needs to be viable in Cata

You'll do less then average dps, less then average healing but you got 10% more stam. You really just want to be a nukebot which implies full elemental tree. If you're still gonna try it I'm curious what the results are though :)
