I accidentally posted this earlier, meant to start a new thread.

Hey guys. First time poster, and while not new to dual-boxing - used to use two comps with EQ - I am very new to WOW and triple boxing. I basically started fresh with everything.. IsBoxer, Jamba and WOW all together - and built my 3man group all BElf locks, reading that it is easier to do all the same classes in the beginning. I am having a blast, taking my time and just enjoying the content as a first time through. Might eventually go to 5man, but just trying to get the hang of things right now.

Currently have all three at 17 with their best gear being quest/trash mob upgrades. Questing in Ghostlands, etc.. Been reading up on dungeons and was curious if I should start hitting the one in Westfall (says lvl 17-25ish) now or just continue moving through quests, etc.. Also curious if the 3man Lock team is viable to stick with. I know at 17, I haven't really scraped the surface on what my team is capable of. Thanks for any feedback. I am open to any suggestions for my lock-centric group.

3 locks is quite viable, but i guess depends on what you actually intend to do. You won't be able to 'solo' any end game dungeons with them. You'll probably enjoy leveling / pvping on them though :)

Give ragefire chasm a go since it's lower and alot easier for you , just to practice. If you use the auto queue system (press i ingame) it'll queue you up with a random tank and healer. Be prepared for some to not be 'acceptive' of a multiboxer though. This caused me a fair amount of trouble initially and is why I 'graduated' to a 5box team so that I didn't have to rely on other people for groups.

With 3 locks, for dungeons you'll need a tank and healer. I would recommend going with some friends you might have on your server but as stated above the looking for Group feature will provide otherwise.

Fully expect your first dungeon to be a complete nightmare. Honestly. (but in a good way)

Alot of things will break off the bat for a number of reasons, so expect the worse :-)
If it happens that nothing breaks and you can keep on playing the same way in the instance, good for you !

What can go wrong:
- depending on your setup/ macros/ boxing software, you might not be able to follow the right toon (follow party1? follow focus? set focus on correct toon?
- you might not be able to select the right target to dps. Do you use a focus macro to dps? is the focus hard coded in a macro?
- looting will be fun, at the moment you probably handle everything from the main lock (passing on others). you'll want to change that to make sure you roll 3 times (once per lock) and not only once
- ever been grouped with other so far? your addons might display differently on your screen
etc, etc
- You might have to chat/answer questions in party chat.. I hope your do not pass keybind is handy :-)

Don't worry, if the first run is a nightmare, the following ones will however be much smoother. as you go you'll learn and find out how to do things.
Just understand that the other 2 that will join you might not want to wait for their triple warlock to redo his macro while they sit twidling their thumbs.

all that said, DO IT, it's great fun!

good luck

Thanks so much for the feeback! Very true, I am having a complete blast with the three lock team. I am only doing PVE, and will probably contine to do so. I feel like it's a great introductory team to get better aquainted with IsBoxer and Jamba.. The more I read, and the more I get comfortable with running multiple toons, the more I am thinking about upgrading to a full 5. Totally wanting to set up a 5 Pally squad. Thanks again for the info on the dungeons.
