I've been using Keyclone for quite some time now, after already purchasing a license once... now the software is asking me to purchase another license, and I'm kind of curious as to why. I am assuming the claim on the website that one license for life is still valid? I haven't changed machines, but I did move within a 'Comcast' area. Comcast assigned me a different account number and upgraded my package, but I'm not sure why this would cause problems.

Edit: I did transfer my license and can use the program, I'm just curious what prompted the program to ask me to repurchase.

Think this happened once when i didnt have a network connection. And again when the authentication server was down.

You've probably cured it by now, but i once had this happen to me, neither keyclone or myself could really figure out why.

I'd built my new pc, transferred the license and it was pestering me all the time, needless to say it was driving me crazy.

But a few days later i was filling out my dairy events, and didn't know the day of a set date, i looked on the pc clock/calender and the bios time/windows time was 2 years in front of what it was meant to be, changed the time to proper time, and keyclone worked fine from then on.

--- as i said, probably cured it by now, but i've had this happen.

KeyClone has a 'phone home' function it uses every time you open it. If either your or his internet is down, it thinks the license is invalid. Just click "get license" or whatever the button is, check your email, and click the link.
