Tempest keep - Phoenix mount

Anyone here 5 box this? I have never been in this dungeon myself but have read that some people 5 man it but curious if anyone 5 boxes it. When I dream about what the next cool thing I could have that mount X 5 pops into my head. I know it is an insanely low drop rate.

I tried it last week, and it's a pita. I was there with a friend rogue and a dk. Me playing pally tank, 3x dps & healer. And basically you need to collect weapons at a certain point from the ground. There is an order of who needs what. And after a couple of wipers finally sorting out the weapons, you realize there is not time enough to actually use them without heavy macroing. I ended up with my toons all over the place, nearly impossible to even get a cast off. I can see boxing this along with a normal group, but doing it all by yourself? That's gonna be insane. However that might be due that I've never done this fight before, there maybe an easy zerg strat we were not aware off.

The mount drops off Kael, you can go straight to him. Go past al'ar and he's in the middle, go around either side and then take a left. I don't know anyone that's been able to five box it. If you've never experienced the fight, it's one of the best in the game.

The only real weapon you need is the dagger for the anti-fear. The rest are pointless if you outgear it in t10.

You do need help though, you cannot 5 box it. You need atleast 8 in raid.

Fear wasn't what was killing us, it was the fact of who was getting mind controlled. If we had 8 it would have been easier, but we 6 manned it last week and I'm hoping I get to do this every week. And you're right, I cannot see this being 5 boxed until after they raise the bar on gear in Cataclysm.

I did it with 7x L80s recently, it is very complex and actually hard, not something you can just brute force DPS your way through (unless you bring a lot more people).

Tried to 5box him a while ago.
After a few tries i got as far as the weaponthrowing part, but thats just insane to 5 box.

I've tried to 5 box him as well and failed miserably :( Keep wiping on P4 when someone gets mind controlled. As I have found with doing old school raids a lot, mind control null and voids out gearing :(
