I did about 4 hours of archeology on the beta last night and all I have to say is.... your REALLY gonna wish you had a 310 speed mount. You end up flying all over the place and taking flight paths constantly. We're talking A LOT of flying here. having the guild flight speed boost and respeccing just for more speed would probably be worth it.
it's definitely an interesting new take on professions. I really like it that you have your own nodes and aren't fighting farmers.
