The military keeps me abandoning the game for long periods of time. When I come back, I don't really remember what I was up to or how to use my toons so I tend to start again from scratch. Just opening bags and looking at inventory boggles my mind.

However, my new boomkin team is just crawling along at level 17 with no RAF. Frankly, I'm tired of seeing the standard zones and would like some advice on how to get rolling again with this previously mothballed team:

1x Pally
3x Shaman
1x Druid

-each toon is level 69
-gear is commensurate with a quest-levelled team so no badge gear (I don't even know where badges come from)
-epic land mount on each, regular flying mount/form
-1200gold total
-no real trade skills

I'm looking for suggestions on current syngergies. The Pally will remain tank but should one of the shamans be a healer so that the druid has the moonkin buff or shall I stick with 3x elemental shamans? I have a 4th shaman @ 60. Perhaps the druid should be relieved of his duties?

Thanks for your help.

The title of this post got me confused/distracted for a split second.

Making the druid go boomkin and healing on one of the shammies would indeed be nice, though the boomkin's dps will most likely be less than optimal due to eclipse procs not being fully utilized, but that will get better in cata.
Healing on the druid would work too, or getting a 4th shaman up for the classic prot pally with 4 ele shamans or 3 with 1 resto.

I'm military as well, and I know kinda where you're coming from. Like already mentioned, 1 prot pally and 4 elemental shammies are a great combo. Not sure about the future of 1 prot and 4 ret pallies with the changes brought about with cataclysm adding in holy power. Plenty of resources on this site (Group Composition Forum) and the WoW forums to give you some insight into what's coming up with all the class changes.

I'm slowly working my way back to the game (building my rig as money allows) and have been away for well over a year because of training and relocations. Best of luck, and if you have an idea of a nice synergy group, post it up and ask for feedback/thoughts/improvements. This is a very friendly and helpful community and many of us enjoy helping out and reading about others' successes!
