Which would you guys recommend for 5boxing? I'm building a new box and collecting parts at the moment. Assume all other components are equal (16gb ram, GTX470, 120gbSSD)
Thanks

I would personly never choose an AMD processor again, they are build to handle 1 thing super good, but as soon as it gets to handle multiple things it is slower than intel, theirfor go Intel... always even tho AMD is cheaper..

AMD if you are hard out for cash. Otherwise, go Intel.

As previously said, go intel if you have the money otherwise stick to AMD. In my opinion i find intel cpus easier to overclock for me.

Yes, the i7/nehalem/westmere chips are easy to OC. :)

The Intel is 2 steps higher on the list than that AMD model. In fact AMD did not have a CPU that could match the i7-860
