Is there any way to custom resize a wow window. Ive got two running but it will only let me resize diagonally(makes it bigger/smaller both ways at the same time) This means I cant get two equal windows next to each other. Anyone know what im doin wrong.

Yes, there is but it gets kinda squishy and hard to see horizontally. You can do it with WoW Maximizer, but can't do both full screen without recoding it.

You could also use CT ViewPort to adjust the 3d Rendered areas and then allow one to over lap the other on the "blank" part of the screen once the UI is setup

I would personally go with this option. CT ViewPort is pretty easy to use and would easily take care of your problem without having to learn yet another application.

Set your windows driver to NOT hide display resolutions your monitor can't show...
Then check what resolutions WOW thinks are available... set it in windowed mode so it doesn't try and go off the charts... then pick one of the 16x9 (Wide) resolutions... I had 1280x1024 on my main screen and something absurd like 1600x900 for the top and bottom of the second screen, I've since reformatted due to a crashed raid and dont have the exact settings...
On my system in XP I had threeboxing setup pretty nicely... The little windows app you see is a quick and dirty launcher I wrote to cover the things I had to dig into most often.

How did you manage to get 2 WoW windows fullscreen windowed? WoW Maximizer can do 1 but gets confused on the 2nd (duplicate) WoW id.

I used WoW Maximizer... the only anomoly I ran into was that if you started a 2nd instance of wow and touched ANYTHING before the maximizer moved it to the right position it would grab the wrong WoW client...
So start wow, wait fo maximize 1280x1024
Start wow2, wait for maximize 1280x512
Start wow3, wait for maximize 1280x512
If one crashed or needed restarted, just make sure you don't touch it between launch and anything else... this includes browsing the web, etc... just let windows manage it's own focus til its up.

Zanthor - nice set up. Do you also use a 30" monitor?
Thanks,

I've been looking for a 30" Montitor, but haven't been able to find one locally.
What does one cost?

Left 17" is connected to:
Athlon X2 5600 2gb DDR2 nVidia 7600gs running XP
Middle 19" and right 17" are connected to:
Athlon X2 6000 2gb DDR2 nVidia 7900gt (now running vista)
An interesting bit... the wallpaper is a screenshot of Dustwallow Marsh from the avatar of the guy who designed it's point of view...

About $1200 or so - Dell has the cheapest but be prepared for some dead pixels or sending multiple units back. Their refurbs in my opinion are junk.

I just bought another Samsung 226BW 22" Monitor.
I can't justify spending all that cash for a 30" to be honest with you.

Once I saw this I had to try it, however I have no idea where to find the setting to allow the 1280x512 on the second display.
I'm running two 17"
Any assistance with getting the configuration in the image with the primary toon on display 1 and it split into two 1280x512's on the second display seamless would be very welcome.
Thank you!
