New Quad Boxer with some Questions

Hello,

I just made my 4 shamans yesterday and bought keyclone. I am running them all off one pc with one monitor for now. Its working pretty good I am dialing in macros/settings to get everything efficient. The only thing that hinders me is my shtty wireless internet at prime times of the day.

I have a couple questions though, what do you guys do when it comes to looting mobs for quest items(for each character)? Is there a more effiecient way besides switching to each client to manually loot? Also if I decide to run an alt on my laptop do i have to buy a 2nd copy of keyclone for it?

Yes, collection quests suck. I usually start collecting with my 5th character, and proceed up to my main. That way I can still see the glowing objects/bodies on my main after the others complete the quests. KeyClone does require registration for each machine it is used on.

Quick answers: Yes, keyclone is 1 license per box. It's so unbelievably worth the $$ though. (I am not a paid spokesperson, just a huge fan) For collection quests, what I do is set loot to FFA and get all the items for character #1, then use my focus macros to set the new "main" to character #2 and loot the drops, etc. You can also just run slightly past the corpses on your main and quickly switch over to the secondary accounts to loot. (run past so that those on /follow can loot without additional movement).

Great thanks for the quick replys. I am having a blast with this, nothing looks cooler then 4 lightning bolts going perfectly in sync beteween 4 characters. I have gotten quite a crowd already with this lol.



I cant wait for 70 and do arena, I wont lie Aelli's video is why I am here right now.

Looting could suck at times. Collection quests blow but at the same time are good for XP. Avoid alot of them. You will (and it sucks) have to tab to other windows to loot quest items. But like Boylston said FFA is the way to go.

When you get to about your 30-40s and are in STV nothing is better then comming across a horde or alliance and having them look at you and do 1 of two things...

1. Look at you and go WTF ahhhh... Then 4 Lightning bolts coming at them then death.
2. Seeing you and turning and running for their lives.


I never get tired of it.

LoL - too many 70's running around in STV. I haven't been ganked many times while levelling my teams, but invariably when it has happened, it was either in STV or Hillsbrad. :P
