Anyone get Halo Reach yet? Kinda putting it off until i hear some good news.

I got myself a Legendary edition and had a whole day off ready to spend playing it, but I had recently taken a break from wow, and instead got back into my DK team and had to split the day between the two.

My advise, get it, but don't go into it expecting the best game ever made.

It's certainly good, but all the reviews made me think Jesus had returned to earth and hand crafted Reach for us, and that kinda skew's your perspective.

The first 20-30 minutes are standard Halo into, very nice (And man, looks so much better than Halo 3) but it's the first mini cutscene that did it for me. If you have played Modern Warfare, you should know what I mean, it's those non interactive first person action cut scenes that are VERY cool (At least IMO)

Anyways, I won't spoil it, I haven't gone that far, but so far the game is very good, I'm not a multiplayer person, so I can't give comments on that side, but the campaign is solid.

A mate and I went to the Midnight launch and got the Legendary Packs.
Only played it online so far, would have to say way better than Halo 3, a little bit more life like, but not to much like CoD.
The new Classes they added, where you choose everytime you respawn has added a whole new perspective to the game, very good imo so far.
Only downside i noticed is the rendering of the maps when playing online. Its a bit Sluggish, some maps not rendering until you get closer.

Well i went and picked it up and played co-op campaign.

Loved it. Like you said cutscenes were amazing, but i liked the new gadgets the best. you can play 16 player campaign... thats nuts.

Anyway... if you want something to do during patch days or just to blow off some steam... grab this game.. it wont be a let down.

Actually, I think you can only play 4 player co-op on the campaign. 16 player is online matches, maybe the Fire Fight too, not sure yet. I got it the other day and took me between 8-10 hours to beat it in one night. I messed around a bit, the story line was pretty freakin sweet. Once you beat the game, sit and wait out the Credits, there's something after them. The multiplayer levels are freakin huge on this one tho. Can't wait to play this on online after i reactivate my Live account. No hidden skulls yet reported in the levels like the other games, but with future DLC, if any, there's not telling. There are easter eggs in the campaign tho.
