You will need dual link DVI to run it. And it may be too wide for some of your setups.

I ended up getting the standard 24" from Dell for $375 yesterday - will be delivered tomorrow!! My main is using the 23" Ultrasharp so I'm hoping the quality will be the same on the standard (w/o all the bells and whistles).

I bought that monitor for around $1250 6 months ago and it is a sweet monitor. Have 0 defective pixels and the picture is great.

I have it in multi monitor setup with 4 20inch LCDs for the other 4 characters and it works great. I get the "large widescreen" experience on my main (which is what I look at 99% of the time) and still keep the other 4 in peripheral vision

The only downside to that monitor is that at 2560x1600 resolution you are going to need SERIOUS gfx power to run it at high fps. For WoW a single 8800GT card will do but latest eye candy games really require 8800gtx/ultra in SLI to get good fps (WoW btw works very poorly with SLI. I have 8800GTX SLI and for WoW I disabled SLI because it works better without then with).
