Got windows 7 installed fresh and world of warcraft & isboxer my favorite progarm :D now im playing my team and it isnt smooth as when i had my HD5750 1GB GGR5 which may rip that resulted in me staying with my motherboards onborad graphics. my question is i know i have good specs i just need to invest on a new videocard but for the mean time how can i boost my fps abit so i can focus more thanks.
All windows set to lowest graphic's and crystal control center i have chosen performance instead of quality which should boost my fps in game. as you can see everything is on low already i even set my windows back to classic even tho i use windows 7 a very good looking OS.

I think that's just the way it's going to be. turn everything down to low. maybe you can overclock your onboard video? (my motherboard has the option for my onboard to be overclocked)

wait, what happened with your 5750?
As far as your onboard graphics are concerned...you can't do too much. The 4200 is a low end chip. I'd suggest lowering the resolution on all your slaves and your main as far as you're comfortable, and throttle the background FPS that you allow your slave clients. Think about throttling your FPS on your main as low as you're comfortable as well.

Or just use a proper GPU. (Not that the 4200 series isn't "proper". It has its place.)

There are tons of videocards which will be able to run 5 clients for that price.
Maybe I missread your specs but 4GB RAM is quite low, I would suggest using at least 6 - 8 GB for 5-boxing.

You still haven't told us what happened to your other video card.
i had my HD5750 1GB GGR5 which may rip
That tells me nothing.
Oh, and have fun getting a significant overclock on your onboard graphics. Those things don't exactly have the best cooling solutions on them.

Well my other video card wont boot up i guess that's for leaving it around for some time now 7 months or so wasn't used so it just got defected or something atleast i got to use it for some time about 2-3 months. I download ati tray tools and my system got the blue screen asap i reset hit safe mode and did a system restore im not even going to overclock this having this problems occur like that.

How much troubleshooting did you do? How was your card stored? Cards don't just go "poof I'm defective" unless they're stored/handled incorrectly. Are you going to RMA it or just buy another one?

yeah i run my main window max graphics/shadows at 40-60 fps the others at half way and no lag/fps at all, its great

as the others have said defective cards are usually due to being mishandled, rare cases, not being inserted properly then being powered up, but yeah try the basics first, take it out and reinsert it, then reinstall the drivers
I'll be honest, I've noticed a massive FPS drop recently, I don't know what to put it down to, but since I came back to wow I've gone from FPS rates more than my eyes can notice to FPS rates around 15-25. I don't think it's anyone's system, I think it's the game.

Hardware cursor, or mature language filter, along with recent patches and the latest drivers have caused a massive framerate drop for some people. I think there was another culprit but can't remember -- check the WoW techsupport forums there's like a 600 post thread on it there.
Also check your power settings in Windows (another thread here about it) as it could be throttling your PC.

Extensive research shows, 7 out of 8 boxers turn VSync off, in turn, not being able to use the Triple Buffereing feature.

Okay so i deiced that i need advice on this upgrade im getting which is ready to purchase im simply trying to increase my fps in game while 5 boxing i want the most out of my characters "my team" im going for a good fps on each client capped like maxfps 25 on slaves and 45 on main driver maybe this will give me a good spell response for my team to react quickly anyway heres what my system specs are looking like at the moment.

I once 5 boxed with an HD5750 1GB DDR5 4GB RAM dual core cpu and i cloud go to dalaran or just anywhere with a nice amount of fps maybe above 20-30 fps on each client with setting on low of course. all i know is it's a good card i payed 200$ for that card and now its gone & cheap 130$ but lets not get into that we are talking about a new upgrade for your system if it anything like me above the that is playable with 5 clients smoothly now im pretty sure my ram also has to be upgraded to about 8GB or 12GB whichever is still playable. This will be done soon when i purchase my new graphic card along with RAM. with my current build above your more likely to be mad and lagging terribly in dalaran but you love your team and you love multiboxing most importantly and you just cant not play one character because you are to l33t well i understand that feeling that's why im deciding to upgrade on amazon which find the cheapest price hardware or software for you all. i only have one machine but that's fine all i need is the upgrade i just need your advice on these two products i have chosen to be with the rest of my system hopefully this products work best with the rest of my parts and its not taking to much of a load notice that i am choosing a single slot card because of my micro motherboard but i didn't have to because my motherboard is micro atx that just means its a smaller motherboard.. have a look below and let me know will this boost my fps with my current system.
200$ Budget on upgrade for current system you also may use these products if your system is anything like mine above.
XFX ATI Radeon HD 5670 1 GB DDR5 (http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Radeon-DisplayPort-PCI-Express-HD567XZNF3/dp/B0034JLTNG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1284628988&sr=8-1)
Currently cant not find decent ddr2 8b ram under 100$
EDIT: as for right now i will not be boxing at the moment because im simply finding it hard to multibox with enjoyment due to lag but i will continue to learn and watch videos of multiboxing.

okaaaay, now that we are talking about pc setups ^^
what's the minimal you need for
1. frapsing...?
2. playing with some nice effects ( not the lowest resolution...) ?
3. no lag at all when 1-2 is active..?

I'm still running around Dalaran 5 boxing with my trusty old GTS250 video card. Frame rates are 30 on the main, 15 on the slaves, no lag, ever. I have my data folder on an ssd which I found to be a massive improvement and immediately stopped lag. I run KC also.
My main has all graphics set to max and slaves all to min except for viewing distance which is set at 50%
CPU: Q9950
RAM: 8gig
Card: GTS250
Drive: SSD for WoW Data only
SW: KC, Jamba, Bindpad on all
DBM on main only
This rig cannot handle 6 toons, I've tried :P and I think the bottleneck is the card so am looking at a Gigabyte 460 or 470 OC.
