I've spent 15 minutes dinking around with it and I can't get to the PTR site--I've never done the PTR before. Is it just not up yet?

And I'm most interested in seeing what 4 Rets plus another class looks like. Then 4 DK's and then 4 Boomkin with SOLAR BEAM.

The amount of damage ret does at 85 vs 80 is fucking retardedly different. Not enjoying the 3-5k dps on dummys while my shaman in relentless pulls 10k sustained (at 80). 277 hunter friend (full heroic gear) is pulling 19k on dummy... the F.

I had my alpha replaced by a trial I added, and was never upgraded to beta on that account... i had another bnet get beta though.... not sure how the first account never got upgraded and that was a question I asked more than once and the reason they always gave was "there were already too many active world of warcraft accounts on your battle.net"

Right now I have two ISP's I can use though.

Hughesnet which will go off on the 18th about, and it is limited to 525 meg a day, except through the late late night, which I can usually manage to grab 3 gig of info.

the other is my new Service, Wildblue, which has a 17 gig a month limit.

Either one of them will kill my service for the month.

sadly, that is also all that is available out here.

oh well, I'll get started with hughesnet tonight. Might have a cop buddy of mine just Download it, and burn it. Copy the folder over to my PC and go that way. (any patches would be a lot easier, then the whole thing.)

I was thinking about giving the PTR a poke, but dealing with their phone support roulette reminds me of all the reasons I stopped playing.

Sorry to vent, but as someone who has been playing off and on for many years, missing Beta because I drank the b.net Koolaid and hit the 8 account limit still pisses me off.

Pushing 4.0 on the 2nd would give them a week after BlizzCon which might make sense, not sure how tired they were when they pushed 3.0 the Tuesday after BlizzCon for Wrath. They might just want a week to prepare. There will be at least a week or two between 4.0 and Cata release to shake out any issues with 4.0 live. Didn't Wrath launch on 3.0.3a?

Not necessarily, not every single employee at Blizzard gets their own avatar. It could be a troll yes but, as stated in that thread those forums are pretty heavily moderated and if someone bothered to report his post as an impersonation then it should've gotten removed. If you're in beta feel free to bump that thread looking for a real blue response and then report the level 1 character's post and see what they do about it.

I did post an alternative, but it seems some are worried that could be a bannable offense.. even if keytrokes just get ignored. No idea, if blizzard would ban those who use it for that.

In fact that would mean that even round robin simulations could be a bannable offense, or any kind of key redirection. Because i also could just reroute the key to a empty actionbar button..

this could be looking bad what and what we can not do. noone got banned for ,,,,,,,, so if they was that pickey they would if its useing a blizzard macrio then we "sould be safe" i have manged to make a few simple marcios. dps is poor though.

Personally, I'm probably going to use the method I did before of mapping out DPS rotations and just writing really long macros that take around 60-120 seconds of DPS to get through.

I suppose from a design standpoint, all the procs and such that players have to keep track of is meant to make the game a bit more whack-a-mole with multiple moles instead of whack-a-mole with just one. Personally, the talent trees seem to involve a little too much pigeon holing to me. Seems kind of a double whammy to have our macros broken and then taking away almost all the customization of the talent trees.

Thanks for the video, But outside of your enlarged Comments, I can't see the Macro window at all. (Yes I have old man eyes). any chance w could have you post the macros so At least I (who always has a problem switching macros over) can get an idea of your template?
