I pay...uhh... with my credit card? I'm assuming that you're a kid in High School or something of the like. You'll find that many (if not a majority) of the people on these forums are out of college and in some sort of tech job. Salaries can easily cover the monthly cost :)

I currently pay each account on the monthly term (5x14.95) but I think I'll go for the 3 month subscription next month.

You know. Why ask a question like this? Think about it for yourself.

1. Of course a Job
2. Student Loans (If your in College)
3. Parents
4. Yard work around the neighborhood?

Stop and think about how people pay befor asking.

Unless you think its cool to pay 800g a month for your wow...? Is that what your getting at? Because your question is like umm wtf is he talking about does not match your response well.

I think his question was more along the lines of "anyone have any other invevtive ways to pay for their wow accounts". Given his current financial circumstances, buying subscription cards with WoW gold seems like a pretty good idea to me, since its not that hard for boxers to grind the gold out. And probably a lot more fun than cleaning some guy's yard or flippin burgers for cash.

Just my 2c...

Cheers,

Every time somebody new joins up, I feel like I'm stuck in groundhog day. Deja vu to the extreme :)

dunno about you, but on "Russian" servers (you know Warsong, Stonemaul etc.) it is constant spam in trade chat about trading timecards for gold

$14/mo x5 every 3 months. So, $200 or so every 3 months isn't a big deal considering one good date night with my woman every week or two amounts to that much anyway. I can think of a lot of hobbies that I already have that cost much more than $200/3mo..

Stay in school.. so you can afford WoW without stooping to gold farming. Sounds like the gold farmers are setting up a more efficient process - buying gold and reselling it at a profit in much less time than it takes to farm it.

Well as far as i know, the guys over at the asian servers have been doing this for ages. Most people there cant afford to pay a subscription so they farm cash instead.

I use my American Express Business credit card. It's a tax deduction under the "subscriptions" part of the tax forms. :)

@silencer qft, was just wondering if it was legit to do here in the US. my girl loves sushi (and so do I) lol, so dropping 100bucks for dinner in one night is normal :)

I have no idea about other servers, but so-called "Russian" servers have their own forum where people share their knowladge about trustworthy sellers and scummers. And this is really huge forums with big community.

Are there any requirements to this tax deduction? Is it amex/business cards only? ;p

I pay for all 3 of mine on my Visa debit card atm; main acct is on 3month plan, other 2 are per-month atm, may move them up to 3month later

I don't understand how people in college or high school would not have money. Back in my day, it was common for students to have a part or full time job while in school, unless you had rich parents. Even after classes and studying, I still had plenty of time to have a job for pocket cash.

Of course now everything has changed but c'mon. Opportunities are all around us, you just need to have a bias for action and a clear picture of what you want.

Married with no kids. Well I have a Pug he is like a kid. Soldier and I dont do anything in the winter. Stock Market pays for my accounts LOL.

Not having to go out on dates 3 times a week is KEY. Dont get me wrong Marriage is a lot of work but making dinner is a lot cheaper than going out everyday.

He did it for a couple years until he got a temp ban. But by then he was done with school so he sold off his account and did other things :)
