Manually manage trinkets or with castsequence

Most click macros I see have /use 13 & 14 at the start, which I assume is the trinket slots. Do most of you do the same and just let them fire when they fire? Or would I be better off making a seperate trinkets button and only use it as needed on boss fights?

this depends on your level of micromanagement. if you want or need that extra burst or whatever for some fights, then you should manually use them.

i put them in my macros so that i get more use from them and they are typically used at least once during a raid fight.

so the choice is yours.

It's not to hard to make 2 versions of a macro

macro 1: /attack + assist
macro 2 /use 13 14
macro 3: /castsequence spell,,,,,
macro 4: /castsequence spell ...........................

and then you make 2 different versions

F1 =
click macro 1
click macro 3
click macro 4

F2 =
click macro 1
click macro 2
click macro 3
click macro 4

you can swap back and fort between both of them at any given time, as they will just proceed, this way you could use the trinkets for the first waves in HoR but once you end up at the wave before the boss, you switch to the click macro that has no trinkets, that way they'll be off cooldown during the boss fight
