To actually see what's going on, I recommend you view the 1080p version, full screen.

It's a new module called Jamba-Trade. Let me know what you think, improvements and suggestions / critism welcome. I have a little bit more work to do on it and I'll release it.

P.S. My first video, I need to work out how to add voice to it, but you should get the idea of what I've done from watching it.

love the music choice lol! VERY EPIC omg i cant wait to use it!

one other thing i might like to see, my lead toon does all the purchasing, and auto even split addition so that i can evenly disperse stuff, ie i buy 20 gems, i want to split them in stacks of 4 auto and then open trade in sequence easier than having to actually target open target open target open... get it? =)

I feel selfish asking this, but will it support /slash commands? So maybe you could do:
/trade CharName1
/jamba-trade TradeGoods Meat
/run AcceptTrade()

or

/trade CharName2
/jamba-trade TradeGoods Herbs
/run AcceptTrade()

Thanks so much. This sounds great. Trading and inventory management is one of the things that makes boxing so tedious.

I've added two new slash commands based on your requests. Both these commands require the trade window to be open.

/jamba-trade loadname <item-name>,<amount>

This will split the item into a stack of the required amount and then load that stack into the trade window.

Edit2: Don't forget you can shift click an item to put it into the chat edit box. So typing "/jamba trade loadname " <shift click an item in your bags> ", 5" works.

/jamba-trade loadname Raw Rainbow Fin Albacore, 5

/jamba-trade loadtype <class>,<subclass>

This will load as many items of the request type that can be found into the trade window.

/jamba-trade loadtype Trade Goods, Meat

Example that works (but badly as the key needs to be spammed a few times because we have to wait for the trade window to load).

/run InitiateTrade("Jaaria")
/jamba-trade loadtype Trade Goods, Meat
/run AcceptTrade()

Edit: You'll need to action these on the actual toon, the commands don't have tag parameters, so they won't work across the addon channel.

Hehe, thanks, I like the music too, thought I should have some sort of noise, a silent video is just weird.

To help you along the way, I added the slash command loadname (see post above). Don't forget you can shift click an item to put it into the chat edit box.

Later on, I would like to add a gui, where you can drag an item, set an amount and then spam click a button and the thing will cycle through your team trading the amount of that item to each toon. Obviously you'll need to accept trade on the other toons, but it should make trading water / gems easier (assuming I actually write the thing).

I knew I had seen the alt inventory thing before. :)

I remember using (your?) trust addons a while back before Jamba was released. I also remember someone had written a macro addon to allow you to edit all the slave macros from the leader.

Not mine. :-) I used the idea of the trust library for Jamba and I used the macro addon for a bit as well. Basically lots of good ideas floating around two years ago, but no one to pick them up and run with them (well I did a few obviously, just playing catch up now).

I am brand new to multiboxing (first post here!) It has been about a week of setting up ISBoxer, Jamba...messing things up...trying again...coming back here or to a Youtube video to figure something out. I just had to send out a general thank you to the awesome people behind Jamba, Isboxer, this site, etc. So many people spend SO much time trying to help others. Very cool.

Anyway, I hope to become a more active member of this site...if I can actually pick a team and, you know, start multiboxing. I have multiple level 72's to 75's, but, I wanted to start fresh. My instance experience is limited and it has been a year since I played.

So, here I am, an old dog chasing his tail. I have read alot. But, I still am not sure how to start. I know I will probably change my mind on group compositions several times, etc. I am leaning towards 3 Shammys, 1 Prot Pally and 1 Priest...but I see so many other possible permutations...and I keep changing my mind. I am making myself dizzy!

So, throw this dog a bone. For the easiest way to have success at handling 5 man instances through Wrath...starting from scratch...with not a lot of experience running instances...but a desire to learn so that I can really contribute in Cata...is there a group composition that lends itself to ease of use, even if it gives up some optimal dps, etc? I have no desire for PVP (might do it on a lark).

Anyway, thanks again to those who run this site and contribute.

It does now. Get Jamba-0.7a. It has a new selection in the first drop down called "!Quality". You can then choose "0. Poor (gray)" from the second drop down to load all the greys up.

My "pitbull settings" are just the default X-Perl out of the box with some spacing added between party members.

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/xperl.aspx

Oh, and I have visual heal installed as well; it integrates with X-Perl, so I can see what toons health is going to go up to when a heal is coming in.

And here is my ISBoxer Click Buttons / HealBot configuration if you are interested...

I'll have to write something to add that functionality in. Perhaps a seperate tab on the trade window? Will see. I have made a ticket for your request.

Yes, a separate tab would be fine. Usually aren't trading other stuff while doing enchants anyway, and I'm sure we could just click the tabs back and forth to arrange such trades anyway.

How do you handle BoP items that are within the tradeable grace period by the way? I have not had the chance to test it, but their default behavior when added to a trade window is to go in the will not be traded slot.

I noticed this update and the quest tracker update, I have my Curse Client set to download alpha versions of mods if avail.

I **LOVE** both features very very much. The only thing I'd love to see if an option in the Quest Watcher to announce when they have completed something (like Carbonite does) ie.

Kill Hungry Boars 7/7 (Complete)

I know the quest will say done once they are all done, but I just miss glancing at the in Wintergrasp to quickly see in my chatbox who hasn't finished what as sometimes my guys get split across raids.

Such amazing work Jafula, salute you. I hope that 4.0 UI/LUA/XML changes wont fuck up Jamba too much.

There is a ticket here for the announce option:

http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/jamba/tickets/120-add-optional-alert-to-chat-when-a-toon-picks-up-an/

I should be able to poke it in the next release for you.

I've got the beta, but only 1 account, so hard to test Jamba fully. I have had to make some code changes already, but my biggest concern at the moment is the Jamba-Macro module completely freezes out the keyboard!

Hmmm, I don't handle them at all, they will be assumed to be soulbound and go into the will not be traded slot. I'll keep this in mind...

Just add a button to try moving it to one of the other trade slots, if possible. Or something of that nature.

If your talking about enchanting simple just untikc 'Soulbound Items' and it will put it in the do not trade slot, apply the enchant and click trade.

Jafula - I set my Curse to always get the Alpha version of certian addons including yours. If you ever want something tested send me a Real-ID message or maybe update your status to reflect waht you need focused on.

Anything we can do to help make Jamba work as smoothly as possible into Catalcysm. :)

haven't tried this (although it looks very handy) as i'm a bit concerned about the bandwidth of my jamba channel.
Basically, i have a poor ping (~450) and i think it affects the speed at which jamba updates things (such as follow status etc)
adding more features i'm afraid will make this even slower (as more requests are sent through the jamba channel)

For example, sometimes i click my jamba follow macro on the main, and i see the status bars of my slaves go green/red a number of times before stayingon on solid green.

What i'm trying to ask I guess, is whether adding this feature is going to be very spammy in the jamba channel, how i can improve the speed of said channel, and whether there is maybe a message priority in the channel (like "hp status requests" > "follow requests" > "trade requests' or something)

cheers,
-Zub

You programmer types that over analyze everything! Geez. :p

Jamba-Trade only sends stuff on the addon channel when you trade. There is no background chatter at all. If you watch the video, you'll see a delay from when the trade window opens until the Jamba-Trade window opens. That delay is the wait while the inventory is being pushed on the addon channel. So, no, not spammy at all.

Also 0.7 includes a few speed boosts, 1) group up and your settings / follow status will go a lot faster, 2) the ChatThrottleLib settings have been tweaked to allow a lot more traffic through, your alts need to drop to 10fps before it halves the throughput.

Bad news. Still Xmas but.

Unfortunately your toons do need to be in the Jamba-Team list for the trade to work (like most Jamba features). And the amount must be a number.

Your toons has not seen those items before, so there is no icon to display (not in the icon cache). Clicking on them to load them into the trade window will allow your toon to see those items.
