hmm not sure what battlegroup i'm on, on azgalor server atm tho, doing the 70-79 bracket with my 4 lvl 73 boomkins and a shaman healer friend also lvl 73

we're takin around 60 or 65 % of our games, its a lot of fun starfalalalalawling my way to win. even tho we come across a couple teams with plenty of 78 to 79s we're still doing fairly well :)

What tactic do you use? What seems to be the biggest problem in the BG?

Looking at those numbers i think the whole team start with a losing attitude, which makes it impossible to win even for a boxer. You'll need your team nomatter what.

most of the loses have been them 3 capping us the base we held was the one im at, i dunno but it seems like horde arent that good, the seem to run around like headless chooks, and they dont even fight on the nodes half the time >.<

If you are just sitting at one of the nodes the whole game, you are doing it wrong. You have to be the one going from base to base blowing shit up and taking over bases yourself and 90% of the time by yourself.

I'm playing my 72, 4x lock, 1x priests this weekend. (They are 74 now - just for EOTS)

I won about 12 games Friday night, and lost maybe 4.

But really late at night, we starting getting rocked. Just took like 2-3 people in full level 70 pvp gear to wreck us.

I started sat morning, and lost 2 and won 1. The teams we lost to were like 78-79 level with pvp gear though.

oh, my strat.

I never cap the flag, I pretty much rush bases, cap them, then rush a new one. We won almost all the games by 3 capping. A few we 4 capped. And maybe one or two games we won by 2 capping and running the flag.

As far as EOTS exp:
Win: 75k bonus (150k if it's the first win of the day)
Loss: 25k bonus

Then you get like 5k a flag cap, and 5k for holding towers, at some interval.

Best way to go. Especially if you can get an other player into running the flag.

so last match i was in i rush to FR and get rocked by a zerg of 7 because the other 10 either went to BE or the flag

My basic strat is to run straight for the flag but dont go all the way in unless the majority of their team rushes the flag. This allows me to basically stop them from running thru and controlling the middle.

Often times the other team will cap their two towers and then send a big portion of their team over to fel reaver ruins right away. So the start of every match leads me to the center on the road. I just stop there for a second waiting to see which way the BIG group of ally go, then i go there, starfall + typhoon + trees usually stops them cold. Then, if i survive lol, i continue on and cap mage tower, which usually gets the alliance's attention and they continually send their forces after me :( If they start going for the flag, my healer friend stays back at mage tower and i send my 4 boomers to the flag to help clear out. If my team is worth a shit then they defend fel reaver, and blood elf tower, and harrass alliance at the flag.

3 capping is the best route for me, zerging at alliance to bust them up first right away helps. Get them in a defensive mode.

The BEST and most important thing you need to do is to watch where the opposition is. Try your hardest to go where the majority of them are NOT. ie if they send 8 scrubs to blood elf tower then go cap another node farthest away from there. The more time it takes the opposition to catch up with you the easier it will be to pick of 1, 2 , 3 of them at a time before they get to you and wipe you out. If you can stay away from their large scale zerging and keep them chasing towers you're best off :D good luck out there!

I'm on bloodlust battlegroup and only had 1 loss yesterday at lvl 80. I do the 3 capping strat, or I guess you could call it continuous capping. I stay at DR for like 5 seconds for it to be ours and heal up, then rush BeT, pop hero and cds, take over and go to frr. Once you get 3 bases it's pretty easy to just respond to whichever base they attack. Let them have the flag and 1 base.

I play Alliance

I take it you play Horde? Cause I rarely get a win in on Horde for Eye of the Storm

Strange, it is very different in EoTS on my battlegroup. While just lvling up my paladin group from 77-80 in EOTS, at one point I got 27 5caps in a row (4 towers+flag) after I hit 78 and got my new crafted gear "twink" items. (those pvp crafted items that are insane from 78-80)

EOTS is so team dependent... I noticed a BIG problem are the AFKers and follow bots. I notice a lot on the horde side for whatever reason. Some people just give up and sit there...

Once in a while, we'll get a really good Horde team that might roll over everyone.

I put a ticket in for 4 bots on the alliance side this weekend.

On my 79 locks, I'm 43 for 69 in EOTS total. At this point they are really, really OP. I really wish I could stay at 79 for a while, and still get Q's, but when you turn off exp, you get put in a special Q, that no one else is in right now....

I always found the 70's bracket the most fun to play. It still feels pretty balanced in terms of class play and the range of levels you get. You don't need to be super elite to help your team win.

Then dinging 80 is like being thrown to the wolves...
