I have 5 accounts, one with a 70 paladin(I stopped playing 2 yrs ago). Sometimes my wife plays too to help out. I really prefer to play 1-3 accounts only these days.

I used to run Stratholme with my pally to power level the other accounts, that wasn't bad back then. I've seen the Hobbs videos of his 80 doing Karazhan trash for gold, looks interesting. I'll look into the dailies when I hit 80.

With 3 toons @ 80, what do you recommend I do to make gold?

Thanks in advance.

what level are your toons now?
with what type of gear?

you should be able to do the vanilla outdoor bosses with 3, and some of the raid bosses, but they don't drop all that much unfortunately

daily quests and professions x3 would help with cash flow

70 paladin, 2 lvl 66 shamans. Just standard quest reward gear.

Guess I'd have to 5 box to get a decent amount of gold/day? Was reading the Shokodan post in the other part the forum, wow.

the problem with not being 80 is that instead of gold you still receive xp, so all the quest and dailies only give you a small(er) amount of gold.
likewise, your professions won't be maxed and therefore you probably won't have access to the interesting pattern/recipes.

if you're still in outland, i would suggest farming the hell out of it (herb/mine) as those mats can still go for a bit of gold.. other than that i'm not sure.
Maybe the isle of QuelDanas for dailies?
If you don't have Wotlk (and are therefore capped at 70) IQD might be interesting.

I doubt a 70 and 2 66 will easily farm the level 60 raid bosses, but happen to be proven wrong :-)

your problem is more a level issue than a number of toons issue.
the level gives you access to the money making strategies,
whereas the number of toons is just a multiplier.

Well, I meant what could they hope to achieve when they're all 80. Forgot to mention that, sorry.

I used to do (still have to today) karazhan. Full clear with all trash for both rep and gold.

I`m doing this on a paladin with 4 shamans team and a full run gives about 600g. That is slower money then doing gruul or magtheridon for example but unless you have 2 really good geared shamans maggy isn`t going to happen. For a 3man team I really recommand killing whole of kara. It is still great money.

Ohh btw, 600g for just boss/trash gold drops and greys/blue/epic selling. Disenchant greens and there is a lot more money to be gained. My old server used to have ah prices that went through the roof on tbc mats. 120-140g for a stack of arcane dust.

600gp doing kara? I assume that's just looted coin and vendor. Actually I cannot really see that little unless you skipping everything you don't aggro and just pathing it for bosses. The grays alone are pretty much in that realm.

If your following a standard gold guide, I found Netherweave itself in kara to be pretty insane. And pretty easy with crazy Leeroy pulls on some of the spectator / guest areas which are always fun.

The spider area has a high respawn time, if your server is like most that outland silk sells for crazy, well 18-24gp per silk easily (what crazy is varies i guess). For a long while I would keep a 6th character there to farm the silk while I grinded badges, the respawn is pretty fast 10 minutes or less.
