Read some reviews and so far they are getting good reviews. They are on sale at my bbuy right now for 130. The WoW headphones are also on sale, but they did not get as good reviews.
I'm wondering what other headphones people use, and if any of you actually have the WoW headphones or the G35.

I have the G35 its a great headset, the only thing I've found with them is there is a very low hum when I use vent but its nothing really. Wow and other games sound great.
Overall I'd recommend them if you want a quality well made headset.

Vent will hum on many setups, play with settings and watch what is around computer that could cause some noise
I buy cheap ones as I have CHS so it doesn't matter. They break too often for me.

I could never stand to have a headset on for very long. I wear glasses and I end up with a headache. None of the headsets ever felt like anything other than a vice grip on my head.
I've moved to using my iPod buds and a clip on microphone that came with one of the many headsets I tried.

I have the WoW headphones, and they are really comfortable with great sound quality, but I have yet to figure out my settings to make the mic sound any good.
So I'm still using my surround system for speakers and using the mic from my slightly older Plantronics headset for my voice communications (nice noise reduction on it, so I don't get feedback while using my speakers).

I tried the WoW ones........................terrible! Promptly returned them the same day. I'll probably avoid 5.1 headphones altogether (g35, turtle, any other gimmicky headset for gaming).

i use the tritton ax360's and couldn't be happier. They are 5.1 and I use them with both vent and teamspeak and never had any kind of hum etc; they also feel very comfortable. Just my two cents for a great product :)

I game a lot on the laptop and it has a built-in receiver for bluetooth (some do and some don't). But if you happen to have one that does, or you can get a USB receiver for a desktop, they work great. I use one for work all the time, and for being very low weight they're good for long sessions. Nearly all of them have some form of noise canceling (some are far better than others, avoid the cheaper ones for quality sound). They run about the same price as any high end headphones for a good one, and you get input/output in one tiny device, separate from the speakers. Works great for me.
Plus, it most likely works with your phone; bonus.

I wear glasses and I hate headsets. I use my iPod ear buds and a clip on mic

I bought some Shure DJ headphones from Guitar Center. They were $150. The sound quality of these is miles better than all the gaming headsets I have ever owned and tried. So much clarity and very tight bass.

I enjoy razer products, have some of their headsets.
If you only want headphones, well, bose is the way to go.

10 bucks at the local walmart. Over the head or behind the head, they have both.
