Sorry if this has been discussed before, I haven't been on for quite some time.
I was under the impression that I could transfer my wow account(s) from my current battle.net to a new battle.net if I wished to. Has anyone done this? The Blizzard CS rep said that I was not able to. This is BS IMO. I don't really care that much if my accounts are moved, but the fact that I am not allowed to move them really makes me angry.
Anyway, the whole battle.net thing still annoys the hell out of me.
Cheers.

I called and tried to get them to delete an account off my bnet and they said he couldn't. and he was pretty abrupt with me. Has anyone moved accounts from one b.net to another?

I have indeed moved a character from one BNet account to another BNet account with separate e-mail addresses. I even just double checked my transaction history to make sure.

Yeah, done this several times via character transfer. I just got another bnet account and use a mobile authenticator with it but have 0 accounts on it :/ I'd like to move accounts there without doing transfer, but I don't know how.

Yeah, it would have been nice to know this before battle.net was implemented.
The whole BNet thing makes me think that because Blizzard has grown and the wrong people are now running (more like ruining) the show.
Anyway, this topic is "so last year", but whatever.
Cheers.

When Bnet first hit you could call and get toons moved around easily, but all that seems to have changed.

I just did a test run through the Character Transfer process and it's having no problem moving the character from one BNet account to the other BNet account. Why would you bother to call Blizzard to transfer characters? Just use the automated Character Transfer process in your account management, it obviously lets you do it that way.
Because he wants to move the whole account not just one toon and doesn't want to pay $25/move?
On a related note: anyone know how to remove a whole game from a b.net account? I have an accidentally created trial game on one account and would prefer it disappered.

You have to call them. Some people said they e-mailed and got it taken off, but most people [myself included] have had to call Blizzard.

I tried to get a Wow account taken off and they said they couldn't do it... I even said I had friends who did it, but they said they can't... "Sorry man, I can't help you".
Has anyone actually Split b-net accounts.
Meaning:
They had 2+ wow accounts on one b.net account. And they were able to move one of the wow accounts to a new b-net account?

Several people on these forums have been able to get this done by calling them, if they tell you they can't, try calling again and hope for a different person.

I have tried to move wow accounts and I was told no on two separate occasions. one thing I did notice was on the second call the CS rep also asked me "you called about this same issue a couple of days ago" making it easier for them to say no yet again. IMO it is more trouble than what it was worth or at least it was in my situation. *shrug*

Because all I was doing was moving characters around on my Bnet account, no transfers. There is no other way to do it without paying, that I know of.

So what happens when you hit the limit of 8 WoW accounts on your BNet? You're screwed and can't add anymore WoW accounts? Within the last 6 weeks both Vecter and HPAVC have indeed broken accounts/characters off of one BNet onto another by calling Blizzard directly and having it done without a fee. Unless Blizzard's policy has changed in the recent weeks, I don't see why you guys are not able to do this. Are you wording your questions incorrectly? I will attempt to call them myself [if I wake up early enough tomorrow] and talk to them directly to see what they say about this.
To add: I have also broken up my BNet accounts but this was back in January so I felt my situation was exempt this late in the year.

i was able to move one of my accounts off my main bnet to my other one ( i only have two ) I had to call to get it done. I was worried having a full bnet account would keep me from getting a beta account ( it turned out to not matter, you can have 8 normal WoWs+beta ) The CS rep moved my 8th account to my other bnet and was very pleasant the whole time.
the CSs saying the "can't" are lieing.. they can! But maybe most will not!
