Logitech G11 = G510 Drool!

Just ran across this at Newegg and I'm drooling, I have a G11 and have loved it, I have not made the leap to other KB's since having those 18g keys has me trained to hit a custom key from that side of the board and having 6 would really cripple my play style. So, if your like me with the G11, then you will be in line to get this.

i was happy with the G11..but I am glad they came out with a new 18 key KB . i am accustomed to having the extra 18 keys without having to use another device. And it was starting to look the they were moving to a lot less keys on all their new boards.

I recently purchased a mechanical keyboard (Cherry MX Clear tactile switches) and I will never use a rubber dome keyboard again :)

I use the G11 as well. I could never multibox w/o those 18G keys. I'm addicted. Maybe if mine dies I'd upgrade, but honestly that little LCD screen upgrade doesn't mean very much to me. Unless I could have it display naked women. In that case I might need to get one.

I'm not sure how applicable it is, but I thought Lax was saying JoeMultiboxer is scheduled to be ready before the expansion and will allow for second keyboards. It may be cheaper, and better, to wait for JMB if you find yourself needing an extra device.

Thats the point! I don't "need" another device cluttering up my desk. With the 18 extra keys, i have more buttons that I can use ( i use them all lol ) I have bartender bars 5-7 set up to look exactly like the buttons on that side. So i have a visual of what i am hitting without looking at the actual buttons. With so many teams, its a nice!

i'm on my 2nd g15 already. I wore the paint off the wasd keys on my first one, the 2nd is holding up nice. The 510 looks like a respectable back up option though after the disappointment of the g19. I did purchase a g13 for the purpose of controlling slaves on a separate device but realized I don't have the desk space for it atm, or really the need. I currently use the g15 button addon to display everything in place, freeing up bartender bars for other uses.
