So i'm all set for cata minus leveling just a little but that will be done over time. I've accomplished a lot in a short amount of time in my opinion so here is the spoils of all the hard work. Since i haven't done an update in a long time as far as my progress i figured i would go ahead and do so since it's basically done.

What i've done
5x 80 paladin
4x 80 shaman
5x 80 dk
4x 75 druids
3x 75 mages
4x 75 hunters
4x 75 warlocks
4x 75 rogues

450 professions
32 jc
32 alchemist
1 enchanter
1 miner

Whats left
Team of 4 warriors and a priest
Professions for them.

Any questions/comments/concerns go ahead and post them.

HA! I'm pretty much doing the exact same thing. Its the last part of my pre-Cata "Bucket List".

Something what I'm doing (still have to do on quite a few toons). Is doing the grizzly hill dailies only each day. Takes about 20 minutes per team, and per week you gain 1 level. That is for the teams i'd leave at 75. Over the course of 2-3 months (dont think cata will be released any sooner) it's pretty easy to get them to 80 that way. Never know what it's good for.

Good lord! You will be super, super, super etc... rich in cat. That's pretty impressive stuff.

I could barely get 4x alchemists to 450.

Nice work!

Nice work!

I did a writeup... its a bare minimum of 1 million per month. Max of about 2.6 million per month... just from professions

I would love to read that writeup you made for your professions, thats crazy 1 mill a month very very nice indeed.

I'm sitting at 29 alchemists, and still need to reach 75th on 15 of them (5x 69, 5x 70 and 5x 72). They've all got epic/cold flight now, which helps leveling some.

You've got 34 and are adding 5 more toons. Are you trying to motivate me to level more toons?

Very nice work Shodokan!!

My first thought was remembering when you first started posting about your plans and many reasonable people basically said you'd never get it all done. Many people have burned out in attempting what you've done, so I applaud your perserverance!

Sadly, my second thought, like Ualaa, was to start to do a comparison (amazing how naturally epeen comparisons pop to mind) and wonder if I needed to make more "stuff".

So, just for the heck of it, here's my list of "stuff"

Toons
35 level 80s, all with epic flying
[avg gear score of 5500 across the 35, in brackets since it will be wiped in a few months]
50 or so level 60-somethings

450 professions
22 master alchs
2 JCs
8 tailors
6 enchanters
1 herb, 1 miner, 3 LWs, 1 BS, 1 Inscr

Mounts
(What I've been working on lately that won't go away in Cat)
40 with Talbuks
25 with Winterspring Tigers
10 or so with Black Drakes from 3D Sarth
15 with Netherwing Drakes
10 (soon to be 15) with Red Proto-Drakes

So who wins?

I think we all have - I'll bet all of us posting in here have had fun staying active and hitting our pre-Cat goals! :D

I applaud all those with their pre Cat to do list.
I am REAL close to being done with Wow, just leveling a warrior and rogue to just get one of every class, other than that I am VERY bored with the game :(

Well they need to hurry up before I move to another game, looking seriously at LOTRO at present and thinking of trying it out.

I'm basically done with WotLK, except as very casual preparation for Cataclysm. Still doing the alchemy gem transmutes, but haven't logged into the game in three days, which isn't really a biggy; each toon will have a lot more then is needed to level their professions and such.

I was joking about the more toons. I am still tempted at a mostly/entirely Paladin team, or perhaps 4x Pally, 1x DK and 4x DK, 1x Pally, by trading a toon for a toon between those teams. I also think a team of frost mages would be interesting, and kind of full circle back to my ManaBurn group in Everquest I. Still have the horde warlocks to level too. Not really that likely that any new teams will surface any time soon for me.

You're definitely further along in the wealth generation, which is fine. To each their own. I know the pain it is to level that many toons and add professions to each. A simple daily transmute, is more then enough income for my needs, but that is only scratching the surface of what has been hinted at, both in your guide to boxing wealth and what Prega posted in his million gold approach.

Congrats on what you've accomplished, and am looking forward to where you go with it in Cataclysm.

oh gosh, you guys are scary >.<

ok this post incited me to get a pre-Cata goal as well, so here's what i came up with.

- 100,000g across all toons (currently about 15,000g)
- Average iLevel of my main team to 220 (currently 216, 4 toons at 209-214, and one at 238)
- Glory of the Hero on all the main team
- epic flying on my main team (got 3 done, 2 left to get)
- second team (undecided atm, 4x mage or 3x mage + 1x priest ) to hit northrend (currently at level 60)

This is assuming Cataclysm hits mid November, and considering that my second child will be born end of september (which will obviously throw all goals around lol)

Im currently working on the alts, ive got 3 teams to 60 almost. I got 5 guildbanks and like 3 tabs on each im working on filling with mats. What im banking on is basically being able to utilize that 4.0 patch when the tradeskill changes come out and we get more points for orange stuff.

I have 10 alchemists, and soon 5 teams in lvl 80, i dont care about gear anymore, i neve raid or doHC's i just lvl and get more professions lol, its like an addiction! think ill go for something like 20 alchemists before Cata, that will do just fine, i dont know what my second proff shoudl be on all toons, but Engineering looks cool i cata, atleast for one team, maby get 5-10 more Jc's, will be fun to see how it turns out :)

keep farming!

OMFG you guys are nuts :) grats on all your teams\profs etc.

Only been 5x boxing a few weeks and my aims are fairly small..

-Finish leveling my first 5x mixed team (L68 atm) to 80 and run Heroics and gear em up
-level\boost a team of Druids, Priests... and maybe pallys mages to lev 60 to make use of RAF
-Get 5x alchemists for profit (motivated by reading everyones posts on it)

Well, I currently have 3 teams @ 80, one of which will be switched to a PvE team when cat hits. While never being one for making any more money than needed (mounts, chants, yada yada) I finally decided I wanted to have a lot of gold just for the heck of it. I do have some 450s (5 shaman are engineers, got a 450 miner and 450 chanter), but those aren't huge money makers, so I'm leveling five alchemists to eventually be 10 alchemists. Knowing me tho, I probably won't do my transmutes religiously like you guys do. So, I guess what I'm saying is when Cat hits I'll be broke...hmm, why did I even start this post. That's how quickly I lose interest in something new :P

Ok, so at the risk of sounding like a complete noob, whats the purpose of all the Alchemists?

Gem cooldowns + extra procs. Right now they bring me in 3k a day. Before they brought me in up to 10k per day.

@ Kalros,

You use the alchemists to transmute epic gems, then sell the gems on the AH. Or have your Jewelcrafter cut the gems and then sell them on the AH.

It's a very nice, easy, and profitable way to add to your WoW bank account.

For the epic gems? Are those still on a cooldown? I know the Saronite to Titanium doesnt have one.

Yes,

Epic gems are on a 20-hour cooldown. That's why you create multiple alchemists, so they can EACH make an epic gem every CD.

The blind man said "I see" which is a lie if taken out of context. A deaf man hearing that is also a lie, compounded by calling the blind man on his lie - circular logic humor worth a small laugh :)

LOL , Show of hands, Who here remembers being a kid and first hearing about logical paths (straight, circular, etc.) from reading Incarnations of Immortality.

anyways, I have almost all my toons up to 80 on one server, and have started really pushing it on my new home Sen'jin.

Add me into doing the Alchemy route, but only with about 10 toons on each server. Gul'dan is pretty much dead AH wise, and Sen'jin, I'm still learning the ropes with there AH.

After doing 50 toons to lvl 80 Twice (10 x 5 accounts) , I think I'll be ready for a small break before Cata comes out.

I believe the actual quote goes
"I can see said the blind man, I can see through a stone wall
You're a liar said the dummy, sure you can't see at all"

for the younger readers a dummy = a mute/someone who cannot talk
