Would five resto druids be viable in PvP? I'm not looking to cause massive chaos, I'm just trying to see if I can add more healing and..... maybe not die, while in AV. :)

I've tried 5 resto druid - granted I didn't have the best gear, but I didn't think it was very viable. Pretty high survivability, but you can't kill a thing. With the changes to resto druids in the expansion, it could be more possible given that you're going to be in caster form most of the time.

You may want to look at 5 priests. They can do some nice damage as disc/holy, and I think they're going to get much better in the expansion. If you play 5x disc, then you can smite spam and heal everything in sight at the same time (5x smite at 45% healing per smite = 2.3 smites worth of healing almost every GCD). Or, if you choose to go holy then you can holy nova spam and get an instant smite (one holy nova and one smite every 2.5 seconds I believe).

In other words, priests are going to be awesome at healing, and hopefully good at damage.

I have retired them until patch 4.0 comes out. I don't really see the point in gearing them with the expansion coming out and I have let my subscriptions expire (I may fire them back up in a week or two if work slows down).

I played against you in AV and from my point of view, you were doing more than fine against the horde raid.... If anything, take off some of your gear till I gear up my toons better :D you only died 3-5 times on your team where most others were dieing about 15-20 times :D

The priests do pretty well in AV. I like guarding horde towers that we've capped... anything that runs into them gets a nice holy nova spam welcome.

One of the nice things about multi-druids is flexibility...

I don't know that you'd really want to run 5x Resto druids in most circumstances, but the nice thing about running Moonkins with Spellpower gear is that you can certainly switch 1-3 of them to Resto and run with a mixed caster group pretty easily.

Wonder if it will still be a zerg fest. We proved right now with like 5 multiboxers we could run in drop earth elementals + one tank and burn the commander before they all die lol.
