Greetings all.

I'm kinda new to wow, due to having started and stopped many times over the last few years, because the levelling was just too slow, and all my friends were lvl 80 and didn't have the time to play with me before i got to lvl 80.

Then i read about the RAF method of levelling, and as i'm suffering from altitis, and cannot decide which class is perfect for me to take to 80, i then decided to setup an extra account.

I was dual boxing, back in the old everquest days, and in MUD's before that... on the Mud's with scripts, in everquest just with 2 windows and switching back and forth.

Currently, i have a main account, with wrath on it.. and i just setup a secondary account, running vanilla and burning.

I finally found a valid download for octopus, from wow.com posts. Took a short while through guides here, to set it up...

Then i installed jamba, as recommended, and i must say, it took quite awhile to set it up.. and i'm still not done. It seems that any decent guide, either only explains the commands, but not going into detail what the specifics do and giving some good examples... so i'm currently just using my G13 to push buttons through to my other character.

Setup :

Character main :
Using buttons ctrl+1-7

Character slave :
using buttons 1-7 (for easiest spamming of dps)

both characters :
using alt+1-5 for same actions all around

The idea is that i should get most classes on my main account to lvl 60.
On the other account, i want to get a paladin, druid, warlock and mage to 60. These i have been able to read, are the best for powerlevelling others through instances.

Current ideas for character groupings.

Secondary account / Main Account

Paladin - Priest (got a priest at 26, which i'm going to lvl to 30, meanwhile the paladin runs with a wizard to lvl 30 who then get's the RAF 30 levels to 60 from the paladin

Mage - Paladin
Warlock - Warlock
Druid - Druid
Hunter - Hunter
Shaman - Shaman
----------- mage lvl 30 + 30 RAF from paladin
----------- Warrior +60 RAF from Mage and Warlock
----------- Rogue +60 RAF from druid and hunter

was also thinking, about trying out at one point, how would a dual priest work... disc specced, and spamming holy nova... just for kicks...

anyways, all of the above is just for pve... and i'm still deciding which i should take to 80 first... i'm mostly a healer type, and liking the priest...

please give me feedback on the duo's if you can... always nice with more info...

I 5 boxed for a realy long time and I'm currently down to 2 boxing. I run a few different comps but Mainly Feral druid / Warlock, and my horde setup is a DK / Shadow Priest. The Priest is also main spec Disc, both work very well.

Bear/cat in PvP gear is my power-booster of choice, movable 360 degree damage spam is great. Some self heal and great healing between pulls coupled with ress ability (you will get boostees killed) is a huge advantage.

Have fun

so the bear has 360 attacks... nice...

well guess i'm going to have a pally and bear for levelling then... :D

having fun so far, with the bare minimum of macros... now to get heavier into it...

hi,

i played only same damage-classes togehter ... the micro-managment is sooo easy ;-)

one of the funniest comps are mages i think, like one frost and one fire or so

greetings
Eloni

yeah i can imagine that 2 dps classes would burn through content...

but the issue is that if you do that, then you don't have much variety in case you get to 60 only with that one team... :D
