View Full Version : OCZ RevoDrive (PCIe SSD RAID Bootable)

This might not be for everyone, but it seems like they are making things easier to do. It is a PCIe (x4) card that has 2 SSDs built into it (120GB) and has built in RAID (either 0 or 1) that is bootable for close to $400 (I think that is the price). Again, it probably isn't for everyone, but if they keep going, they should make things better. Downsides: expensive, no TRIM (probably no TRIM for years until controllers change) in raid. Upsides, lower power, no cables, uses a slot you have and doesn't fill up drive bays, bootable, raid, SSD, name brand. Seems like it is worth it.

Very impressive and creative technology. I'm looking forward to more competition, lower prices, and higher quality as this hardware develops.
