I'm pretty much excepted in my battlegroup, not alot of people give me too much grief when I play bgs but I would ofcourse get the random "We lost because of the multiboxer".

My guys have always been on the top of the list in kills like most boxers probably are but would still get the "We lost because of the multiboxer" comments. The funny thing I've noticed since I got full wrathful is I don't get those comments anymore, even when we get totally destroyed by the alliance. Usually people blame the whole group or say, "YOU GUYS ALL SUCK, except u Smoke, ur cool"

I don't think I do any better then before but..... I guess if u don't want people talking shit, you need to have the gear.

Maybe Gear > Skill in some ways.

well ofcourse gear -> skill, you cant beat a team that outgears you alot by just being good, thats just how it is.. imo anyhow! and to actually win as a boxer, you either need alot of gear OR get a few lucky kills so they get scared and leave the Bg hehe ;P

so good gear is considered cool, so aslong as you're not completely useless you're pro.

Sure you can. Some "trade chat lol leet gs scum" can have full relentless + wrathful legs/hands and a couple of icc 25 pieces just from getting carried for months. And there are plenty of them. Decent gear is very easy accessible. And those are the guys when they i.e. play a shaman that never have used a hex, interrupt or purge. A good player will always beat a bad players. And most players in wow are bad players (i'm not talking about the 0,x % that has a decent arena rating, since it was about BG's).

You won't be successful without both, at least in the highest levels of play.

If you take someone with the highest rating (arena/rated BG's) and give them a fresh to 80/85 team, and put them against a team that is halfway towards the best gearing, I'm not sure that they'll even stand a chance. But if they're skilled/good, they'll beat the better teams with less gear then I'd need to beat the better teams.

friend did this in 3's, three fresh 80s in just furious with relent off pieces and they were bating 2600mmr teams.

God, it's been hard going against those ppl with 1400 res and 35khp, but it just takes time. Don't worry, most of us get that grief in BGs too

It's just funny to me that I could probably go into a bg, sit in one place and nuke people, don't help defend, don't cap, etc.. And people will think ur doing great cuz of ur gear.

It's probably cuz most bg players don't realize what is going on in a bg and who is really contributing in it.

Talking about bgs, found out something interesting yesterday. U can join a bg as a raid as long as u don't que for random. :eek:

I feel like such a moron, knowing about this would have made my grind so much easier.

Even more, if you play for the team and guard a capped bunker, flag, w/e you will come out with less honor than the others.

Ok everything I said was incorrect. I guess all I have to do is play during the weekend when all the people with pve gear come and do bgs. Damn I missed hearing "We're losing cuz the boxer SUX" from people wearing heroic gear with no arena experience.

I think ages matters more then ingame experience. Like the kids will worship you nomatter what. Atleast i hope, imaging a 25 y old person worshipping you because you play 4 chars at once..... I just hope that doesn't happen a lot. Maybe when he/she's drunk. Which ofcourse reduces effective age :P

I had a prot paladin with no pvpgear at all whisper me to boost him in 5s because he needed pvpgear. I just cut off the conversation because i figured trying to learn this boy that it's not that easy will probably take a loooong loooong time.

I suck cuz u left :(. When I came back and u weren't around, I was so confused I got lost in Dalaran :confused:. Took me a week to figure out u can't buy wrathful gear in the AH.
