New to Multi boxing, Leader? vs Leaderless?

being new, i see alot of Leader ways to perform, and having macros for back up leader, and i see alot of Leaderless ways, so that you have a faster way to perform and not slowed down by having to switch leaders.

my question is Being new, which is the better form of Multiboxing, in your opinion. i would like to learn how to play as either. Right now i play the leader set up with assist Leader macros with a follow set up.

also just so i dont spam the Boards. i Heard from a friend that Hunters are a good Multi boxing start because of Hunter Pets tanking. is that not a good choice? or should i do something that can heal I.E Priest, Shaman, Druid, Paladin?

To start out, the focus is easiest. One macro will be follow focus, then every other macro starts with assist focus.
KeyClone and HotKeyNet work this way from the start. Innerspace sets up FTL for you which is pretty powerful system done for you. You decide what you need as you gain expierence multiboxing

Any toon will be easy to start with because WoW is made to solo most quests. Having 2 or more toons is easy. When you get into harder areas like dungeons and elite mobs having a toon that can Rez will help out some, but start out trying everything. Some people hate groups that others swear by.

i got keyclone. and i looked at the wiki to set up follow invite and target assist macros. i had a friend who MB'd 4 shamans but he quit so i cant talk to him, so i found this place and i thought it would be nice to find out more.

i am Mbing 3 hunters, since thats all i have money for atm

So you got it set up so far? Also get Jamba for many M-B things made easy such as follow strobe

yeah its that i was talking to someone on US-Deathwing, who told me about the FTL set up and that its better then Leader set up. so i was just asking ya know how everyone thought about it. because i am new to Multiboxing. i just dont want a bad experiance so i dont get annoyed, and never do it again ya know :P

The only benefit from FTL is really only seen in higher end arena pvp, so I wouldn't worry about that if I were you.

Personally I use a focus based system with keyclone.

okay then so if i ever do stuff like 3s or something then FTL is better, but for grinding and i guess raiding Leader is fine, with Setups to change leader should something happen to main

I don't know your financial situation, but if $10 ever 3 months isn't a burden, then get ISBoxer and use FTL. It's better system than focus (for one it doesn't use up your focus so you can incorporate it for more advanced PvE pulls, that could be likely in Cata).

at the moment i can only afford the three accts, because i have alot of other Bills. but yeah if i can get the money some time later ill try out ISboxer for sure

I've used a focus setup ever since i've started and I haven't felt the need to change. works great for me, though I'm sure FTL would be more powerful. Its all about how comfortable you are with said system.

Using a focus based system myself (casting spells on focustarget) I have my regular target free to use for cc targeting and such since my slaves are all casters.

With melee or hunters it would be different.
