Shadow Priests of Théah: The Journey Part:1

Hello every one. I'm sure most of you know me from my the raiding videos of my shaman. Over the past week I had some time to kill so I decided I'd start a project. I finished off leveling my shadow priests (they were sitting at 65) and decided to challenge my self to gear them and raid them in less then 24 hours. Well I pulled off a Putracide kill in 10 hours.

I added comments during the video for people who have checked it out once before. It's a big long be warned.

Keep in mind how I play: I don't split my toons up, ever for any reason. I gem and enchant as if I'm going to keep the item for ever. And I'm not part of some big or fancy guild, most things I do are pugs or friends who play on server with me.

I'm sad to say one of my shaman still uses a htoc weapon... due to a lack of good shaman weapon and LK not droping them for me... so... :D but two of the priests are using 232 weapons. I just grabbed what dropped as I ran things.

One of my many flaws is spelling, try as I might with out a spell checker I fail. Having a wonderfully eloquent way of speaking fails me in text every time. I'll try to fix them all.

Oh very much. Sadly not as much as I love my shamans in pve, I think it's my lack of mounts... Although the priests have charm. I 4 box healed icc25 for a couple bosses. That was insane. I could only pull about 4k hps on each though, not my normal raid healers 8-9k hps. but no one died.... in pvp though, dispite not having any gear for it and dieing when some one looks at them wrong, I'm adoring it. Nothing beats watching 6 people die after they kill you, as they are unable to heal though the dots.

I really like my spriest, but at 5700gs he still stinks in the dps dept compared to say my hunter or even my shaman. I struggle to pump 4000dps on a dummy. What's nice is they need almost no raid heals =)

Between this video, and "theuglyguy" video, My next team is definately going to be priests. Be it holy or shadow, they look like a lot of fun either way.

I like how you pre purchased/crafted all the BoE gear and gems, probably made badge farming insanely fast! Gives me some ideas for my own up and coming teams.

Can't wait for part too :)

I have watched it again and couldn't see the collection of badges.. Maybe I missed it, at which point did you see it? Oo

I rewatched it and it seems that it is actually the LFD tool which is up on some parts showing the badges, my bad, had me wondering for a sec :)

What makes the team very special is that she has all those toons (and the other set(s) ) raiding, its obviously quite rare to have multiple toons concurrently in raid consistently and to a lesser degree having multiple characters actually raiding at it seems. It's trivial to get a pile of characters to 80, badge cap them and ... do dailies.

The comp has a lot of strength from what it had a while ago, looking at the same group I toyed with: old school vamp embrace, blackout procs and symbol of hope were the center of the group's focus. The major downsize was the 20 yard range of mind flay and really no regen, crits, and crappy itemization. That made instances pretty tough throughout TBC. Now the comp is similar to modern druids or shaman, especially with the addition of aoe damage.

Any inadequacies as far as comp buffs can be written off as 'the raid will provide' or are trivialized if you are pulling raid gear dps outside of a raid.
