Heres what I have so far

4 shaman have chain heal bound to ctrl-numpad 1
druid has a isboxer macro that broadcasts that (ctrl-num1) whenever I hit alt-C

The steps for the macro are

1- Do FTL assist me in general key map -> self
2- ctr+num 3 -> other Shambeeb-Shambee

and the only thing that isnt working is the FTL, because it is still doing the chain heal itself. Is there some special option I need to check to use FTL in my macros?

also, for some reason even when I have keymaps turned OFF, my key maps still work (the ones I made myself). IE I will turn off keymaps but if I press ALT+T for my totems on my shaman, they will all still cast their totems.

Turning key maps on and off is actually controlled by a key map that is enabled by default. Look under the "Control" key maps and you'll find one that switches the state of other key maps to on/off. Since you've created new key maps, and not included those key maps into this toggle, you're not ever turning them off.

You need to be careful in wording things when trying to describe your problem.

By macro do you mean key map with multiple steps? Do you mean a key map that has one step with that first calls the FTL Assist and then calls another key map that does chain heal? You have ctrl-num1 listed but mention ctrl-num3.

The reason it's chain healing themselves is because you have an option in WoW enabled that auto-self casts if the current target is not helpful (if you're targeting an enemy and hit chain heal then it will just cast on the player).

Im sorry, i was a little stressed when I wrote that lol.

What I meant was this:

I have alt-c on my main guy bound to a key map that sends a 2 step key map to the shaman.

Step 1- FTL assist me sent to shaman
Step 2- send ctrl-c (bound to chain heal on the shaman) sent to the shaman

When I target a friendly player, this doesnt work.

It should be set up in one step, with multiple actions for that step.

I send my 'FTL Assist Me' to 'self' only. The 'FTL Assist Me' keymap takes care of sending the correct target to all slaves.

If you're sure you have everything set up correctly, then try a different keybind to see if ctrl-c is the issue.

ok after looking I think I have it set up right but it isnt working still.

Here is what it says

Actions:
Do FTL Assist Me in General Key Map -> self
Ctrl+C -> Shaman(s)

Are you sure your toons are included in the "Shaman(s)" ATG?
Are you sure the "Shaman(s)" ATG is included in your character set?
Do you have any of the macros in "Shaman(s)" working correctly?

Yes
Yes
and Yes, all of the macros that i've made that dont use FTL work perfectly

Ok heres what I did, I changed that target from Window: Current, to my Druid(main window) specifically and it seemed to work. However, I shouldn't have to do this for every FTL macro though, so why do I have to do it for this one?

To answer your question I would need to see your configuration. Any time you have a problem with a specific mapped key, it will be easier to troubleshoot by looking at your configuration.

Go to File, Copy to Clipboard. Then paste to pastebin.com and link it here

Make sure the Hold option is OFF on any mapped keys you want to use the FTL, it will probably work fine after you disable that
