I have been running 2 accounts on 1 machine for about a year now and decided to up my numbers. I recently upgraded my machine with new mobo, cpu, ram and video card. I also ditched Vista and got win 7. After doing the clean install of windows 7 I re-installed my game and sat down to see how the new set up worked and was horrified to find an old problem rehashed.

When running more than 2 accounts on the same machine I find that the 3rd and 4th accounts have a mind of their own. The first and second accounts still run in sync as normal, but the other 2 accounts are visibly laggy on the second monitor and I literally can't have them auto follow anywhere, and they appear to be lagging 1-3 seconds behind the first 2 accounts. The max fps and max background fps is maxxed on all 4 accts and I have been unable to find a fix that would "sync" them all up. I'm not anxious to use a program like ISBox or WinEQ2 as I want to keep my full screen windows along with the custom UI's. I am 99.9% sure this isn't a resource problem.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

My rig is:
ASUS M4A89TD Pro/USB 3.0
AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1055T Processor
MEM 8GB G. Skill DDR3 12800
BFG GeForce GTX 260 OC Maxcore
Windows 7 64

I don't play EQ, but could it be anti aliasing turned up higher than 1 on the clients? that destroyed my machine when i launched 5 games with AAx8

After much frustration and pissing in the wind, I finally found the solution. I had to manually assign each client a core. To do this (Most of you probably know, but since i didn't see it in here anywhere....)

Open task manager, go to processes > right click xxgame.exe > right click Set Affinity > check the box for the core you want to run that client, rinse and repeat until each client has its own core.

Thanks for the help nonetheless, found out lots of nice other tidbits while cruising these forums looking for a solution!
