Been searching the wiki and forums, watched nearly all the vids and asked fellow guildys.... have been told there is a way of restricting the inactive windows fps through something... cant find it :( all i want to do is (as said) restrict inactive windows from going above say 20fps as its messing me up : / any help?

Click on a slot number in your character set and make sure the checkboxes at the bottom "Limit framerate in foreground to" and "Limit framerate in background to" are checked.

Add the following into your config.wtf
SET maxfps "60"
SET maxfpsbk "20"
Click on a slot number in your character set and make sure the checkboxes at the bottom "Limit framerate in foreground to" and "Limit framerate in background to" are checked.

or also from in game chat /console set maxfpsbk 10
ISBoxer adjusts WoW's maxfps and maxfpsbk settings according to the ISBoxer configuration (per Slot in your Character Set as others explained), there is no need to adjust the maxfps and maxfpsbk with ISBoxer
Just be aware that capping background fps too low will cause follow issues. 20 is a good number

21 is a better number if you use Jamba as the bandwidth available to the addon chat channel does not get cut in half by the ChatThrottleLib library (something that makes sure you don't get disconnected for spamming the server).
