Yep, here in New Zealand where we are in the future and all that, played a few hours, its got a good single player story.

i'm trying to buy the digital online version but I keep getting an error when I submit my credit card info. I'm afraid to try again (tried a couple times) and have it charge me like 10 times for the game :(

I played through the first 2 campaign missions last night, I must say I'm impressed! There's a lot of voiceovers and in-game mini cutscenes. The pre-mission room also has lots of things to click for more cutscenes to give more depth to the story.

And there are achievements... and I have to beat each mission on hard mode. ARGH!!! :D

I have played through the 1st several missions, and now I am going back over them because I am addicted to achievements like that LOL

Downloading the client is about 7GB, so depending on your connection speed it may take a while.

Buying a digital copy went almost smooth, got an error but turned out that the expiring date on my credit card was wrong (which is odd since I pay for my wow accounts with the same card).

I wasn't happy about what they charged though since in most local stores it is a lot cheaper.

The game itself is a lot better then I expected with some neat cut-scenes and nice gameplay.

I've been playing it a bit yesterday... and I'm impressed with the story and the way they present it. The campaign looks awesome so far.

The details are entertaining as well like the communistic news coverage and the pictures on the wall...

Btw. Anyone know where those codes are for the in-game pet in the CE edition and the downloadable content? Maybe I'm blind but I couldn't find anything in the box ;)

And if anyone is playing in Europe let me know... we can do some games or whatnot.

Hope you linked SC2 to your WoW battle.net account cause there are no codes apart form that one. Soon as you link a CE SC2 to battle.net any wow accounts on that one will get the pet

Just got my copy this morning... installed it on the work laptop to have a sneak preview and went to battle.net to register it... and the piece of shit site is down for maintenance...

Cant play the game until it comes back up...

I hate blizzard... those wankers should have planned it better so that the site isnt down for maintenance until after the first week of their brand new games release...

Yea I beat this game in like 18 hours...well I guess I'll have to wait another 6 years for 2 days of starcraft enjoyment :(

beating the game in campaign mode is just ONE VERY SHORT STINT of what starcraft is all about. Imo if all you wanted was a solo player game go buy civilization revolutions for xbox360 :P

starcraft 2 is pretty awesome, im still terrible at it, but the pvp and the 2 player team up maps have been a lot of fun so far. I'm also busy trying to make my own map :D

I've been playing ~4-6 hours a night since it came out and still feel like I've barely scratched the surface. Beat the game on hard mode and got all the achievements, now I'm going between beating it on Brutal and doing some ladder games. Haven't even touched custom maps yet, which will probably last years as more and more are released!

I beat the campaign on normal and started playing the basic matches against the AI. The fact that you can't play all the units in the campaign was a real turn off to me. I know it's an issue of balancing but it's still a bummer to play through the campaign with all these cool units then not be able to play with some in matches.
