Having fun

I dusted off the accounts within the last month and am having some fun. At first I started with my pally team but then figured it would be nice to get my shamans some gear and to also do instances I was unable to with just my pallies. Did that for a while. Grinded the first boss in SoF a gazillion times (last boss just pwns me to much).

Then I remembered how I always wanted to spec my druids out with a tank/healer so I did that for a bit until it became to painful to realize all my tank gear was balance. So, I put my druid tank in front of my shamans and now have mostly blues and epics. Able to beat the first boss in SoF now. It is really interesting using a druid as my tank. Actually, kind of fun. A bit more work, though. Gearing a druid is totally different than gearing a pally tank! And I cleared UP for the first time ever (third boss SUCK ASS). It took me forever to finally realize you can't rez anyone fighting him because it will deaggro him.

I figure I will get my druid geared up a little better then put him back in front of my other druids and see how things go.

Just dont worry about gearing them up to much with Cata around the corner. You know those greens will be pretty nasty from the first quests lol.

That is true! Cata Greens will be a huge upgrade for some gear I have.

Glad to see you back, and more importantly enjoying it!

I've been mostly just using my teams to run the WG weeklies (20K honor for 20 mins work on a successful defense), and using the honor to buy gems, which I'm selling at the AH. Works out to about 1100 to 1200 gold per team, so across 6 teams that's a decent return for something I consider more fun than grinding dailies or playing the AH.

Mag seems mostly dead now. Oath signs in every so often. Feels a bit lonely! We did get a new 2-boxer join today. I imagine when Cata comes out things will pick up again.

I still play on Mag, but only lowbies, not in Zerg right now. I think I had one or two in guild but not sure if those accounts are active.

Yea, but you aren't on as much as you used to! Or maybe it was just me that was logged in all the time.

Oh and this morning I just remembered. Druids can stealth around trash mobs! Doh! I was like..wtf am I doing fighting my way to the bosses!?
