I've started to gather my enhancement set. since i'm sitting on 8k arena points and honor is poring in, i figured i'd give it a go.
How much worse would a 2h be over 2 1h? I'll buy the wrathfull weapons, so stats are somewhat the same.

Any tips? comments?

no lava lash = less damage = easier to be killed

You will lose the benefit of having windfury (what ever the weapon enchant is) and flame tongue weapon simultaneously. I don't know what kind of dps drop that would be, but it will be a drop. You lose lava lash and stormstrike is kinda meh without an offhand, but could still be effective.

Buy a two hander try a rotation it on a dummy (return it for a refund), then buy 2 1h weps and test them. See what your dps is with each setup. Let us know how it works out.

The less damage you do as enhance = the faster you get killed.
less swings = less maelstrom procs
less maelstrom = less damage or healing

2 handers are fun to see huge windfury crits, but nothing else.

2hers are very very bad for enhance.

Ok, i'll just stick to 2 1'h then. Goal is pure BG's. I really don't care what my overall dps would be. That's why i'm asking here, because the only real way to find out how it works in BG, is to actually test it.

Didn't think about the fact that you lose a second weapon enchant.

You planning on boxing enhance or some solo fun? I saw Krusch did the same thing.

Boxing them. Mainly just to screw with 4 x wolfs.

Probably not if your goal is to achieve something, which seems to be your thing :P

My goal is fun, so i think that isn't that much of a problem.
