Could you kill stuff and move around? i.e. was it playable?

The ping on that picture is showing 2361ms, that couldn't have been much fun. Is that what you were getting on the servers?

I just gave it a try with a single session, and it was easily playable. I had only 150ms latency, 400 kbps bandwidth on Sprint. Five-boxing may be possible, but I didn't feel like going through all that to log 'em all in. I was just doing my auctionhouse stuff. Auctioneer's mass dump worked just ifne, about 4MB of data in all.

I have dualboxed on my MacBook Pro with a tether to my iPhone before.
It is playable to a degree, the only downside is that you occasionally get signal interuptions which forces you to restart the wow client (not good in the heat of battle). I know quite a few people who use them at work to play wow on nightshifts :)
