First group hits 80!

Finally my 4 shaman hit 80, so teamed up with my 80 tankadin I now have my first group http://multiboxing.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif.

The question now is, with Cata so close do I spend my time gearing up the shammy's or do I focus on levelling some more toons?

Maybe i'll carry on like I have been and just level other toons at full rest xp and gear up the shammy's at the same time.....but who knows http://multiboxing.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif

I wouldn't worry about Cata too much. While it's likely November, they still haven't announced anything, so you could have more time than you know what to do with. Just do whatever you enjoy ;)

Grondir, I reckon that's the way to go.

Cata will come out whenever it does. Launch yourself in and enjoy the team - don't worry about any gear resets. Have fun! :-)

I personally have not been putting much effort into gearing out my 80's further with the expansion coming out.

I have been leveling up new teams, leveling up professions in order to make gold easier, and stocking up gold for the expansion.

So far I have leveled up alchemy to 450 on 16 of my 80's, 4 left to go.

After that I am going to pick some other professions to max out.

Some other things I am trying to do before cata is to get my epic flying mount on all my characters, and get a nice stockpile of gold saved up so once cata comes out I can get all my alchemists up to max as soon as possible, this way I can continue to make easy gold with the new cataclysm transmutes.

Levelling alchemy on my server is hard. I'd have to pick all the herbs myself as there aren't many for sale and the ones that are available, are extortionate. Then all toons would need to be 75+ for alchemy in Cata. I may just level all 47 toons to 65 then focus on another 1 or 2 teams to level, 1 mixed team and an all Paladin team.

Think i'm also going to level 5 DK's on another realm so I'll have somewhere to put my Worgens, just a shame there's no cross-server heirlooms yet :mad:.

On the whole i've enjoyed levelling my first team and the next ones will go much quicker now that I can have Cold-weather flying from 68.
