Was hacked for the first time today, since well ever.

Had been using Microsoft Internet Security as a AV, and it caught nothing.

On a whim, I grabbed the AVG one out, and it came back with Logger.IZP in the Input Director directory.

Now I'm not accusing the Input Director guy here of anything at all. I've used his software for the longest time. My question is, Does the logger.izp always come with ID, or did it just some how find it's place there.

I took it out, and ID still works, so it just has me curious.

I do not have Logger.IZP in my Input Director folder.

I've been using input Director a really long time, but I'm not always quick to update to the newer versions. Currently www.inputdirector.com is down, maybe it's related.

The site is back up, I checked, I'm using the newest version, so either you didn't get the download from the www.inputdirector.com domain or you managed to snag a virus that happened to throw itself in the ID folder.

OK , thanks Supernova09. I had a feeling that is what it was.

I believe I know what happened also. I recently went to help try out the new Beta 4.0 of Firefox, and like an idiot, I didn't check if there was a newer version of Noscripts.

I'm sure myself, or my grandkids picked it up somewhere online.

Thanks so much for verifying this for me man.

Heh, it's always cool to hear about grandparents playing video games. Makes me, at 30, feel a little less "strange" for playing video games with a bunch of high-school and college kids. WTB being born 20 years later where every one of your peers, including girls, will be playing video games.

Hehe, will to be fair, My wife is 15 years older then me, and these are stepkids, But for all intents and purposes they are mine.

Hell I raised them through the Tweens and Teenage years.

Hmm. Today AVG is giving me the same thing with Logger.KIL in Input director. This is so odd, I got it from there main site also.

Some viruses reinstall themselves after you delete them. You'll have to do a more thorough removal.
And make sure you have an authenticator on your account so you don't lose anything.
Just make sure not to register the authenticator while you are being keylogged.
