Well the cata system requirements is one of my major concerns/interests regarding cata (maybe cause i dont really care for some more shiny water and whatnot). Since there seems to be quite a few members of this board active in the beta, i was wondering how the stress its putting on your system works out compared to lich king. Even single boxing info is welcome.
yup i'd be interested to know that as well.
I remember all to well the multiple crashes went setting foot/hoof into northrend.

When there is you'll probably hear about it first in the Cataclysm Beta Forums (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?forumId=7555625&sid=2000) first.

I was more curious about feedback from boxers who play the beta actually. Thanks for the link though.

Well most, if not all, boxers will have the new water effects turned off. Other than that I don't notice anything outstanding that will tax your system more than now.

What scares me is all the fire and flame effects. If I start getting some FPS bumps and look around usually find a fire animation.
Even the Cat zone previews from Totalbiscuit he was complaining about bad lag/fps especially in Ashenvalle. Of course that area has tons of flame animations. He was just single boxing as well...
Hoping my system can handle it since my machine is far from powerful. Probably have to dial down all my graphics including the main window to cope with the changes. Then turn it back to ultra for single boxing...

Ya you are right, forgot about the flame animations. Frost/flame animations already tax my computer

i fear more phasing. I really hate parts of Icecrown near ICC. Follow breaks over and over and over.

The beta is per Battle.net account, not WoW account. So even though I have 5 wow accounts on my battle.net account, I can only log in to the beta once. It basically creates a 6th account on your Battle.net screen that you can transfer characters from your other 5 to.
