Random character freakouts

Sometimes when im 5 boxing and I mess up and press the wrong series of keymaps/keys, my slaves will run off in whatever direction they feel like, and they will keep running even though auto run isnt on and im not pressing any buttons. What causes this?

I get the same from time to time. I suspect some sort of lag issue since mine is quite high.
a single press of the follow macro fixes it however. if you get it in time :-)

Welcome to Interact with Target. What happens is you hit IWT, the mob moves, and your guy keeps running because the magic numbers in WoW don't match the alignment of the zodiac etc. Hit IWT again or if your guys are close enough, autofollow works too

This will happen with or without multiboxing software, when using IWT + CTM :)

Also, is there a key that turns cuts off all ISboxer functions or something? I was just doing an instance and all I did was press a series of attacks (1, 3, 2) and my slaves stopped casting and wouldnt FTL attack/target anything anymore. Nor could I turn on broadcasting/key maps. I had to click to a slaves window and click back for it to start working again. Is this normal?

No there's not, but it's possible that through some sequence of events the window thinks that some key is held down that's not, like Ctrl for example. That does reset when you switch windows, so this seems like a possibility in your case. Try tapping ctrl, alt, and shift if it happens again, and see if it starts to work after that
