I'm hoping this thread serves a few purposes. One, it tells Jafula how much we appreciate the addon by showing what the users use. Two, it may show people some functionality in the addon that some didn't know about. Three, it may single out areas of improvement.

Please rank the features of Jamba. In other words, whatever you can think of off the top of your head, make a list and put which feature you like the best.

Here's mine (ranked most loved first):

1.) Follow status
2.) Auto repair
3.) Quest completion/accepting
4.) Whisper forwarding
5.) Promoting of current toon to group leader
6.) Setting loot to free for all
7.) Experience tracking
8.) Proc alert (haven't used much, but hope to in the future)

Many more, but they're not popping in my head right now :)

I like:

1) Item bar - drag item to bar to be shown on all toons.
2) Jamba-Macros - on my paladin to swap between ret and prot macros, all I do is change a tag on the paladin and click the rebuild macros button. My keys never change.
3) Jamba-Proc - nice to see my mage hotstreaks now.
4) The soon to be released Jamba Quest Watcher.
5) The auto-every quest related bits - never have to read quest text again and the auto-pick rewards (logic added by loop) except for blues is just sweet.

How sad am I that I have never even seen these features. My boxing has slowed alot, so ISboxer and Jamba are on the back burner. The new machine will help and finding a team which does what I want would also increase my drive to do what is needed for a true boxing player

I'm glad you replied, Jafula, because I didn't know some of that functionality existed!

Jamba item bar? Say what? I'll have to check this out later!

I know you're using ISBoxer - are you building your macros in ISBoxer or using Jamba's functionality for it?

Good luck with that!

Item Bar, see the Jamba Getting Started sticky for more info.

I use both macros from ISBoxer and Jamba-Macros. ISBoxer has a ton of great default ones; shame not to use them.

1/ auto-follow
2/ auto quests share/pickup
3/ items is pretty nifty
4/ procs

haven't looked into the rest yet but the macros and (soon) questhelper seem very interesting

It's not quite questhelper, more quest tracker, but since blizzard has the main questhelper functionality built in and jamba utilizes that, I guess you could say that.

Where to start.

Ok:

1: Follow Strobe
2. Broken follow warnings.
3. Auto-merchant for buying/selling consumables/crap
4. Auto-quest share.
5. Auto-free-for-all looting.

I could go on. I've happily donated to help Jafula out and plan to again.

Also - quest tracker eh? Yes, please - I'd love to make sure that my followers are all at the same stage of a quest my lead is. I had an instance where (somehow!) one of my followers didn't get credit for killing the Commanders in Icecrown (BBC quest), and he had to go back and solo it, because the others already handed it in and therefore phased out synch with him.

Now, I manually check to make sure they've all got quest credit when doing the argent dailies before I hand 'em in.

From a high-level "module" perspective:

Disabled modules

Jamba-DisplayTeam (Pitbull tells me what I need to know)
Jambe-Follow (strobing not used; too many situations where I need explicit control over who follows and who doesn't; also, OhNoes works much better for me than a text message for follow-break events)
Jamba-FTL (I don't use ftl at the moment)
Jamba-ItemUse (I put all my daily items in a huge macro; never have to click anything, just press my button; might try this if I level a new team in the future)
Jamba-Macro (never tried it)
Jamba-Proc (I don't bother with this as my teams don't use any procs that require micromanagement)
Jamba-Purchase (I use FreeRefills for this)
Jamba-Sell (I use AutoProfitX for this)
Jamba-Talk (I don't bother with this any more; I just don't get enough whispers to bother, except from gold spammers which I don't want forwarded anywho)

Enabled modules

Jamba-Quest = pure awesomeness, especially for dailies. I don't use the tracking part, only the quest accept/complete/abandon portions.
Jamba-Taxi = simple but saves annoyance. Only thing I'd prefer to see here would be a notification that "Slave X does not have that flight path."

First - I have a lot of other addons so my list may be a bit warped by that - that is I used other addons to do some things - here goes my list in order
Core stuff - without which it doesnt work- really just to say thanks its well done awsome etc etc
Follow
Macros
Quests
Purchase/Sell

Not so used (with an improvement)
Proc - I used eventalert - as noises with text are better than yet another screen display

I love Jamba! Everything people have mentioned. I want to list a few and explain HOW i use them to hopefully give someone an idea they might not have used before.

Jamba team- being able to make the slaves PASS on loot and use group loot option on leader. This lets me loot everything on the leader and anything that can be DEd gets DEd from the leaders screen. This saves me TONs of time. I used to spend hours every week or so, DEing stuff from my enchanters mail/bank. Now i just choose the DE option on the loot box when i loot, and my tank just trades the enchanting mats to my chanter at the end of the day, or send it to my bank alt if I'm loaded with mats.

Jamba item bar- For the longest time i never used this, i felt i could macro any quest items and use default bars. Thats because i did not understand how it worked. A few weeks ago I started leveling my druid team. One day I picked up a quest item off a mob ( the kind of item that GIVEs a quest, when you click it, it starts a quest ) I had already made some key binds for the item bar, but had not use them yet. I placed the quest item on the bar ( after using IWT to loot it on my slaves as well ) and what used to be a pain in the ass was made ridiculously SIMPLE! I hit my key bind for that slot and all the toons instantly opened the quest and WALA! They all had the quest, no digging through their inventories one at a time to get the quest started ( think chicken egg quest etc.. ) Needless to say, this one feature alone made leveling my druids a lot more fun! I now use it for those quest starter items and quest items you need to use to do a quest, like light fires with a tourch and such. I used to use macros for that, but this is way more simple!

Again, Thank You JAMBA for making my MB life so much easier! Best MB addon EVA!

OMG; DOH! I put that warning in there ages ago in 0.4; but when migrating to 0.5, I made an error and it doesn't actually work. I'll fix this for next release.

1 quest completion
2 Flight paths
3 Items you can even switch armor weapons. The tournament lance used to drive me crazy. Now i just put the teams weapons on the lower slots.

BTW, the Items slot get huge after the fifth slot. is this a feature or bug. 1,2,3,4,5 would stay the size i want but after that the slots are twices as big.

I like Talk but... when its soooo bad when you get spammed. when i get 3-4 spams relay to my main, i grind my teeths and my neck tenses up.

I know what I "would" love the most. Jamba Macro I need to buckle down and figure it out. I would love to build my macros for boxing/solo and off spec.

There are many features in Jamba that you will find in other mods like the auto sell and buy but what differentiates it is the ability to push the settings to other toons.
I used Freerefills and other autobuy mods but quickly learned that using Jamba was more efficient for me. For example on my new 5 box AOE team I just hit level 18 and can use new water. I just push Sell Old water and buy new water too all the toons and voila. all the old water is sold and the new one stocked. Love that.
