Hey guys, new to the forum, i've had a search around and cant seem to find an answer that actually is able to help me. hehe

The problem i have is that my alt character is not following as well as it should do, sometimes it turns too much etc the wow settings are exactly the same. After 3 or so mins the alt is running pretty much in the opposite direction lol.

Also, do you always have to tab target or is there something clever enough to duplicate mouse clicks on the window lol (i know it's farfetched but thatd be awesome)

Are you using any boxing software? Sounds like you are using key to move both toons, and they always get out of sync.

You can target any way you do solo, sounds like you want both/all toons to target with the tabbing. You need to use /assist on slaves for them to attack the same target as the main.

Yeah im using Keyclone 1.9j or somethink (at work atm)

Yeah theyre getting out of sych and sometimes targetting different mobs

where do i use /assist ?

Do i add tab to the out-of-bound key thing?? and then make macros for all my spells with /assist "main toon"?

Do people not have them both moving directions then, do they just have them on follow all the time??

The slaves (followers) are indeed pretty much all the time on follow. They will stand a couple meters behind the main (the one you drive from) and will be all bunched up on top of each other.
Using the cursor keys on all toons will not work as a slight difference in angle will result in a big difference down the road.
The usual thing is to 'not pass' the WASD or cursor keys (depending on what you use to drive) to your slaves.
I believe Keyclone has those keys in Do-Not-Pass by default however

Often people have a follow macro that they spam pretty much all the time to make sure the slaves follow the leader.
the macro can be as simple as /follow name-of-the-main-toon, and you just need to bind a key to it.

The targetting with tab is also tricky as the closest enemy might be different depending on your toon position, angle etc.
THe common way is to use the assist method. basically, instead of having your slave cast a fireball (or whatever) you get you slave to 'assist' your main, and cast a fireball at that target.
That way you are sure your slaves are always attacking the same target as your main.

This is done through in game macros.
Just open your macro editor and create a macro for each spell you use and write
/assist name-of-the-main-toon
/ cast Fireball

then drag your macro icon where your current fireball spell currently sits. Obviously only do this on the slaves.

This is a very simple explanation and there are many variations to achieve the same result.
I suggest you have a look at the "Wiki" section on the top of the forum.
Also look at the addon called Jamba (search for it here) as it helps alot with all that.

Hope this helps.

note that all this is pretty much a starting kit, and there is much to change/adapt to your needs.

regarding macros, this section of the wiki should help: http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Macros
