Do you think it would be possible to make the Team: Display window be clickable/interractable? I'm thinking in terms of treating it like an interface window, so we could set a repeater region on it for click-healing. Would help a lot with the problem of having our regions screwed up when we enter a BG or raid. I have no idea if this would even be possible given the current mechanics of the coding, but just a thought.

Thanks

Just having the team being clickable would be great. You could use that to set focus or heal by using hotkeys to heal the toon in the hot spot

Do you have the latest release? Because this function has been added already. I believe if you use clique the team frames are registered properly now. Good luck.

edit: Hmmm. Maybe not. Here is the latest release note for jamba team.

Jamba-Display-Team

* Clicking on a toons portrait or bar in the display will target that toon.
* Team display location information is now pushed with other settings to all toons.
* Can now set the transparency of the team window.

So maybe it isn't a registered frame yet and only does a target command. :(

Personally I am sticking with VuhDo for these repeater functions in order to see debuffs, hots, incoming heals etc. We don't need Jamba to re-invent the wheel.

This already works for me since the latest version released a few days ago :)

I am pretty sure I cast a heal spell (into my hand---waiting for a target) and then clicked on a char in team window and it cast on that person. That should be really close to anything you would want to do. Of course it is also just a targetable place, so you can select a person through the team display and then cast on them (once targeted) also.

It did just change like < 1 week ago, though, so might have to make sure you get the newest version. I LOVE curse client to update my addons and Jamba is on curse.

Oh I guess I haven't updated to the new edition. I'll check that out. Thanks for the heads up.

All that happens when you click on the the team display is a /targetxeact toon macro. If I can work out how I'd make it more flexible; not 100% sure what people want. I guess the same as grid/clique works? I'll have to see if thats possible, not had the time to investigate it properly.

It used to work that way, but now if you have no target, it will cast the spell on yourself if possible. Of course things like revive or Brez can't be cast on self so the old way will work. I use VuhDo and it handles both conditions flawlessly

auto self cast is an option in wow that you can turn off.

I wasn't trying to say it was a problem, I was saying, I could use the team window as a target.

I stand corrected. That is still a cool option, with VuhDo, focus on tank and using Alt to self cast I just play whack a mole to heal ;)
