Considering I've been having no luck logging into battle.net to be able to post on the official forums, I'm guessing it's gonna be much longer. From everything I know about the chat systems that WoW uses and the changes they have had to make, it's not surprising that the RealID patch is proving to be a RealProblem to get working. Patches didn't seem as painful when I lived in PST, but these three extra hours does really add the hurt.

i dont get the real id butit does seem interesting also whos up for ruby sanctum when we log in? i have my main team ready to go any one wanta try it on there 5 team with me?

they aren't unlocking Ruby Sanctum till all the regions have the patch (ie. next week.)

From what I've read, I don't think Ruby Sanctum will be in-game for us for another week. This patch puts in all the info/maps/mobs for it, but it isn't unlocked until next week. So said wow.com anyway.

I just wish they would over estimate how long it will take, rather than having to keep extending it. Its like they get all my hopes up and take it all away over and over again. I'd much rather they said it wont be ready til 8PM and then at 6 they say "guess what, its finished early!!!"

Its a lose lose for Blizzard. They over extend then people go out and come back to servers that are up early they QQ about it. It's not like its gonna be stable tonight anyways so whatever.

Well, was able to log in to my char on another server, and they have some new settings in the Interface tab for the RealID stuff and they have changed the UI for the chat windows. Sent a request to one of my other B.net accounts, so I'm gonna be curious to see what all seems different. Other than that, no real noticeable changes.
