View Full Version : [Keyclone] Need help with major random keyclone issue

Hi
I've been using keyclone for a year or so now and never had any issue untill this week...
Basically i run 5 pc's and have a keyclone on each, have them set to auto connect to the main pc ip etc and the slave pc's
show up on my main pc's clone i.e "S1ck-pc" is the main then its "clone1-pc" "clone2-pc etc but the issue i'm having is
When loading up the instances only my main pc show's the "wow1" names for each pc but the slaves show nothing as if
there not connected and when pressing anything on my main pc it will NOT repeat to the slaves again as if not connected
BUT if i switch to a slave pc and press a key it repeats to the main pc ONLY..... this issue is happening randomly and i had
been able to just click apply in the settings and they seemed to sort themselves out but this evening they just wont and i cant
seem to figure it out :(
Any sugestions ?

Managed to get it working with some stupid fiddling but not actually changing any settings so the problem i guess will still exist when i log tomorrow : /

Well at least that muppets gone, but I'm still the only one posting here lol /hugs self... Damn you keyclone!
Really really don't want to switch to isboxer as it's just overkill for what I want but it's getting closer tbh

You must break down the problem. When did it start? Any changes before that point? Try logging one at a time, 2, then 3 and see if that changes things. Turn off all addons. Be sure one of the machines did not go bad.

Hey thanks for the reply

The issue started after re-installing all my pc's in my new house (moved) but nothing on them was changed in anyway they just got unplugged and put in boxes. i have tried to connect them one by one and in different orders etc but made no difference, i doubt addons have anything to do with this problem as the issue is happening when wow isnt loaded and continues when it is loaded. this is all why i havent a clue whats going on as its not like anything has changed all settings are the same and correct, all pc's are set up on the network firewalls are configured etc etc and the thing is they do actually work after restarting the pc's and keyclones loads of times and going into setting and clicking apply 100's of times suddenly my main pc name with show up in the clone pc's keyclone window and away we go all working : / but i havent a clue why :(
I'm not sure how i would go about finding out if one of the pc's has gone bad as they all work perfectly or atleast to me no errors or issues with them as pc's
