I have just setup Octopus and everything has been going well until I let someone join my group of 2 druids. Suddenly my keys won't broadcast to my slave. I am also using Jamba and once someone else joins the group I can't put the looting option to free for all..it jumps right back to group loot. If I drop the 3rd person from the group, everything goes back to normal. Any ideas?

Do not any thing about octopus
Are you the party leader when you add the 3rd player? Might be the way WoW handles Party loot, but it is strange, might be worth opening a ticket

There's an option in Jamba regarding the looting style. Look under the group section and you'll see your problem.

I can't imagine Octopus knows if you're in a group of just you and your slaves, or a 40 man raid, so I'm guessing it's something else. Are you using a focued based system perhaps? Try disabling Jamba and having someone join the group.

Yes, there's an option in Jamba (checkbox) to "override when a stranger joins team" or something similar, right underneath the FFA option.

As for keys not working, can you still jump/sit/emote? If those work but your spellcasts don't, then it's probably a problem with your assist/focus/targeting macros. [edit] Note that if you use @party1, @party2, etc. in your macros, they won't work the same if someone else joins the group. Well, they might, but they might not. If you're having @target/@party1/focus problems, try typing /target @party1 or /target focus or /assist focus and such in the chat box and see what it does. Might give you some extra data to work with because if it works from the chat box but not your macro, then your macro is broken.
