If you had a guild willing to let you I'd say you could do one set of infusions a week or 5different raids a week and hope you get lucky with shard drops you might get two or three done in time

my previous statement wasn't really clear as i was driving, but im home now :)

HOW do you presume to be able to get:

A: infusions done on all 5 characters? Will they be done in 5 separate pug raids or multiboxing all 5 in one raid? one character infused at a time?

B: how often do you raid ? And given the chance that you're geared enough(read over 5700 gs) now, who would in their right mind let you get 5 let alone 1 as a multiboxer in one raid?

C: lol burnout? if i had to raid 25 man icc 7 days a week(which given how much chance of frost shard drops would be is how much you'd have to run unless you're doing fullclear/hardmodes) how often would you get shard drops? i think i'd get burnt out after raiding more than 4 days a week(which is happening i fear already lol)


I dunno if there's really enough time to do this if you're playing all 5 in one raid. Though it IS possible if perhaps you paid your way into a raid group 5 days/raids a week for each of your characters and cleared a few hard modes and got all your infusions. This would require a VERY LARGE group of raiders who were capable of clearing all the content tho ... lol good luck :)


is it possible, hell yes it is, given that you do several hard modes a week for a few weeks(hard modes are like a 60% chance to drop a shard, 11 bosses a week lets say, if you get lucky it will take7 to 8weeks of HARDCORE raiding in 5 different raid groups that are doing at a bare minimum 7 or so hard modes out of the 11/12 they kill and those bosses dropping shards(completely random chances, given that cataclysm is a month or two away(doubtful) I'm looking more like around christmas release date im sure there's more than enough time! :)

i dont think if you're multiboxing 5 in one 25 raid that its possible tho :)

I have friend's averaging about 7 Shards a week.
You can have horrible RNG luck and get 0, or 12+.

I havnt set my 4-box melee team in stone yet as they are only 23, but I intend to get atleast 3, and depending if the 4th toon is another DK, or an enhancement shaman, I might get a 4th.

I suppose if you can run 5 seperate, full clears of ICC a week, and the guild will let you have the shards, then its plausible. But dang thats a lot of work.

If I cant get 1800 easily in 5s, I'm prob still gonna get shadows edge on 3 or 4 melee toons tho.

Why don't you get the hilt weps? Those are sufficient to hit 1800 assuming to work your way up slowly and get all the 1400, 1500, 1600 rewards first.

if you can get the infusions done in a week, and do 4+ runs a week individually, then it's very doable.
Without being able to do multiple runs weekly, you will probably run out of time

Lol, i just did the new cata dungeon and a sword dropped that is better than shadowmourne minus the proc lmfao, beats it by almost 100 dps >_>
