How was your AV weekend?

so far i have gotten all offpieces on my paladins in just over a day. going on shaman tomorrow :)

Didn't win a single battleground.

Took my lvl 76 lock in AV Friday afternoon and didnt start out very well. But then got into a group where a player posted a strategy and everyone followed it. We won. Ended up winning 9 in a row. Night ended with a few losses but many more wins. Started up Sat mid-morning and played until early afternoon. I now have a nice lvl 80 lock.

that obviously was the best one. Also did some random games where i ran around to cap GY's to get my Master of Altherac Valley, which i have now. Which is nice aswel.

Why can't i put an image in my post? the function doesn't work, nor does [img[ (yes, the second should go the other way, but for some reason my keyboard won't allow me.)

It's so strange how each bracket is so vastly different. I was told that the 51-60 bracket the Alliance on Kil'Jaeden's battlegroup won repeatedly and people were getting exp like crazy. I was in the 61-70 bracket, which is full of lvl 70 BC horde twinks, and we hardly won at all, maybe 1 in 10 games.... Then in the 71-79 bracket, the alliance started winning again.... I was getting between 175,000 exp per win up to 250,000 exp per win, for around 20 mins... A loss was like 50,000 exp, so still not bad, better than grinding by far.

I have to say that 5x boomkins are fun as hell, running up to a bunch of people battling, press starfall, and watch everyone just die.... Makes me wanna 10 box 5 shamans and 5 boomkins.... pure pwnage on an epic scale...

Gotta wait a whole month for AV again :( I really only love AV, and I hate the random BGs, so i likely wont hit 80 until then.

Maxed my paladins out the last AV weekend so I didn't even bother this weekend. That and we went to Liverpool and Blackpool here in the UK.

Ya i think the alliance got a beat down but guess blizz thinks how many guys you kill means nothing in pvp.Maybe one day they will make a bg that you win buy killing the other team .This was me and my guildys Fighting a xrelms premade.

Never did enjoy 40 mans, as none of my shaman end up in the same group. Also, I still only have a 1/1 win loss there, as its hard to control the entire battleground being only 10% of the raid (being 40% in WSG is borderline going the other way :/ )

Just checked, have a 3.5 win loss in EotS :-) def the easiest BG to quarterback by simply zerging from tower to tower

Anywho, one of my randoms was AV, luckily arrived last and all 4 toons filled last 4 slots, had a random healdin decide to follow me, so we just zerged straight thru, capping both mines, and 3 GYs on the way up to the King, always ahead of the entire team :-) Easy+Fast 7k Honor

Quite a waste imo, since anyone can solo that. Besides i doubt how much use they have, but that's just lacking knowledge on my part.

But always nice to win and zerg the king ;)

I avoided the mines, I just dropped the healdin off at them (from my new mechano-hog *flex* ) and went to fight for Gys till he was ready to sneak ahead and flank the enemy team.

How fast are your queues? normally in the 10-12 minute range on Tichondrius - Horde then mixed with the time to do the BG I really only can crank out 10 max games a day before I"m spent. counting the wins/losses that is maybe 1 new piece of gear.

Wow the only time I've had sub 5 minute queues was when I initially hit 80 and then right when the queue from anywhere system came into play. Sounds like a nice PVP world you live in....and to think Tichondrius and bloodlust used to be one of the tops in PVP.
