cant jump out of the water anymore!?!!

SO the recent patch has made it immpossible to jump out of the water.

Used to be able to cast water walking on yourself, jump out of the water, and run or mount and run across the water. Now, if you fall in the water, u have to swim all the way to shore to get out of the water.

this is a VERY stupid nerf.

I've noticed that I'm no longer able to buff water walking before a bg match begins; not noticed an issue jumping out of the water but then I may not have been looking.

Last night, i got strand of the ancients, and I didn't notice anything different.

The prebuffing of water walking was changed a few weeks back and I'm sure that was added to prevent people from running to the boats and attacking before the match begins.

I typically run my guys towards the middle so they all jump in the water, buff water walking, jump, then mount and regroup. I did this last night with no issues.

I know if you are mounted you can't jump out of the water onto the ice or waterwalking while mounted but if not on a mount you should be able to, I'd petition a GM and make a bug report lol

hmm... it was in a BG, and from reading the blue posts, they did intentionally make some changes to water walking in BGs specifically, figured this was a glitch or silly change added on top of that.

could just have been a bug with my new key set-ups, but i could have swore i was able to jump once i left the water lol...

Ok, nevermind, its just a flaw in my new ISBoxer set-up. It takes a minute to get off the ground with my mounted toons as well.
